Cesky Krumlov Private Day Trip from Prague

1. Cesky Krumlov Private Day Trip from Prague

One of Bohemia's prettiest towns, Cesky Krumlov is a living gallery of elegant Renaissance-era buildings housing charming cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops, and galleries. In 1992, it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With the convenience of a licensed professional tour guide, get acquainted with Cesky Krumlov. The town has been bustling since medieval times, and the historical center is exquisitely preserved. Then, march off to Krumlov Castle for a taste of the Renaissance. Krumlov Castle is the second biggest in Bohemia, after Prague Castle. This jewel attracts visitors from all over the world. (The castle is closed from 31st October - 21st March; we can visit the town of Ceske Budejovice along the way instead). Later, dine at one of the local pubs or restaurants for lunch, where you can enjoy the local beer, Eggenberg. You can explore at your own pace, saving time for souvenir shopping if you wish. If you are finished early, you also have the option of adding the nearby town of Ceske Budejovice or the Hluboka Castle to your tour.

Prague: Day Trip to Karlovy Vary and St. Maurus Reliquary

4. Prague: Day Trip to Karlovy Vary and St. Maurus Reliquary

Enjoy a full-day guided trip to Karlovy Vary, the most renowned and historical Czech spa town, with a visit to Moser Glassworks and the incredible reliquary of St. Maurus in Bečov Castle.  Travel from Prague for about 2 hours in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus to Karlovy Vary. This town was founded as early as 1370 by the mighty and powerful Czech emperor Charles IV and has 13 main hot springs and more than 300 smaller springs. Visit the town center’s ornamental spa buildings before visiting the most powerful spring, Vřídlo, which rises from a depth of 3000 meters and reaches a temperature of 73°C.   Then, visit the headquarters and museum of Moser Glassworks, one of the most famous glass manufacturers in Europe, founded in 1857. This was such a beautiful experience and the tour guide couldn't of been any better all thanks to Joseph who was the kindest person ever! Joseph is fantastic and would definitely recommend this tour! He was so helpful, knowledgeable and kind! He helped us walk on the snow and made sure we could take the tour at our own pace! Which was appreciated due to my mother having disabilities which was no issue for Joseph who was prepared to help when needed! Thank you for the perfect day trip - love from Scotland from Jennifer and Mum x

I was lucky since my guide Joseph has a background in geography. He is very knowledgeable and introduced the formation of the park in a way of easy understanding. I was the only customer in this trip but didn’t feel awkward at all as Joseph treated me like a friend while in the same time he took care everything very well. I strongly recommend this tour if you are a nature lover and want to see different scenery.
