You'll be picked up from your central Prague hotel in the morning and then head to the starting point to meet your guide for an overview of the day ahead. Your guide will also assist you in adjusting your bike if necessary.  Start on the route (32 km) to Karlstejn, taking a special cycle path after the first two kilometers, which will lead you along the riverbanks of the beautiful Vltava and Berounka rivers. Cycling through the Czech countryside with its picturesque villages, there will be plenty of stops for refreshments and photo opportunities. A must-see is Dobrichovice Castle, with its richly decorated restaurant on the first floor. Here, the tour will stop for a short break. Then it's only 9 km to Karlstejn Village. Once the tour arrives in the village of Karlstejn, park your bikes close to the train station where the group will stop at the restaurant. The bike tour ends here and for the rest of the tour, you will have free time to explore the splendid village of Karlstejn with its many shops and entertainment possibilities. You may wish to visit the famous Karlstejn Castle (on your own). Karlstejn is surrounded by many hiking tracks, which also make for a great afternoon activity after your bike ride. Spend as much time as you like in Karlstejn Village and then return to Prague by train when you're ready. The train to Prague departs every 30 minutes. You will receive a train ticket from your guide. The train ticket is open and you can take any train from the schedule that you like. Enjoy the flexibility of this tour to Karlstejn and spend as much time in this picturesque village as you like before returning to Prague.

Escape the hustle and bustle of Prague on a full-day bike tour to Karlstejn Castle, and marvel at the Czech countryside as you bike out of the city’s southwestern suburbs. Enjoy a full-day guided trip to Karlovy Vary, the most renowned and historical Czech spa town, with a visit to Moser Glassworks and the incredible reliquary of St. Maurus in Bečov Castle.  Travel from Prague for about 2 hours in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus to Karlovy Vary. This town was founded as early as 1370 by the mighty and powerful Czech emperor Charles IV and has 13 main hot springs and more than 300 smaller springs. Visit the town center’s ornamental spa buildings before visiting the most powerful spring, Vřídlo, which rises from a depth of 3000 meters and reaches a temperature of 73°C.   Then, visit the headquarters and museum of Moser Glassworks, one of the most famous glass manufacturers in Europe, founded in 1857. See breathtaking samples of contemporary and historical art glass exhibits and see how these articles are made.  After lunch in a charming local restaurant, continue on to the castle of Loket nad Ohří, a stunning medieval place that has been underestimated and forgotten. Admire the massive castle and the unique locations that became popular again through their appearance in the James Bond film “Casino Royale”. Finally, it’s time for the highlight of the tour. St. Maurus’s reliquary (a container for relics), housed inside Bečov Castle, is considered one of the most important historical items in the country and a priceless part of Czech cultural heritage. This is truly a sight to behold.  After admiring this priceless piece of history, you’ll return to Prague for about 7:00 PM.
