Compassionate and interesting guide. This formula does not include Lake Guatavita, which allowed us to arrive at the cathedral early in the morning and has the advantage of enjoying the site without the crowds of groups arriving around 11am. A visit to the two sites would undoubtedly be a hindrance to a serene and peaceful discovery of the cathedral. When booking, you should pay attention to the formula offered, with or without Guatavita.

I hired the private tour and it is an excellent option for those who want to get to know the surroundings of Bogotá in a personalized way. My guide on duty, Jorge, was excellent in explaining the history and context of the places visited (Pueblo de Guatavita, Laguna de Guatavita, and Catedral de Sal de Zipaquirá), as well as the surroundings. Lunch in a typical restaurant was of all tastes, where you can get to know the local gastronomy. Finally, our driver was also an excellent company during the trip. During the return to Bogotá a bit of traffic congestion, but you do not notice it if you are enjoying the surroundings.
