See and learn about the colorful birds hidden at the top of the trees, breath in the clean air in this spectacular landscape, and keep your energy levels up with an included breakfast and lunch

Meet your experienced bilingual guide in Bogotá and start the day with a traditional Colombian breakfast at an authentic hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Then, set off by private van to La Chorrera, the highest waterfall in Colombia.

Drive past the East Hills on the way and stop to take pictures of the paramo (high treeless plateau) of Cruz Verde. Arrive at the park and begin the hike through the lush, green Andean forest, learning about the native life and plants of the area at 2,600 meters above sea level.

Continue your trek to reach the 1,936-foot (590-meter) wall of cascading water that is La Chorrera. Rodrigo the tour guide was great. Met at 8:30 at hostel. Breakfast was solid. About a 1.5hr drive into Choachi. Great views on ride. About 5hr hike to the waterfall. On the way back lunch and another smaller waterfall. We had some furry friends follow us from there. This was well worth the money and an experience I’ll remember forever.

I can't recommend this tour enough!!! Definitely our favourite day in Bogota. Our guide Andres and driver Omar were terrific. Andres was super knowledgable about the area. The breakfast and lunch were incredible and let us try spots we wouldn't have thought to try. The hike itself was gorgeous!! Highly recommend booking this tour.

Marcela Was an amazing guide, so friendly and fun. The hike and drive there were beautiful but I think what surprised me was how good all the included good was. Don’t miss out on this trip! Also, bring a dry set of clothing for after the hike. You can leave them in the car while hiking but it was so nice to put on a dry shirt post hike. Also, shout out to our driver, Omar. He kept us safe on some very narrow roads and played amazing Colombian music too!
