Salt Cathedral amazing. Totally recommend it. Guativita ok for quick stop but it's not really that special (historical significance also covered at thegold musuem in city), and 2hrs to walk the track WAY too long, especially given that there are reasonable interpretation signs along the track. And obviously means lots of extra driving time. The lunch stop was great.

For the guatavita lagoon there is a park guide who speaks only spanish. For the salt cathedral for non-Spanish speakers there is only the audio guide. The group leader is therefore not very useful if, as in our case, he does not provide some information at least during the journeys

It is a very good plan for those who speak Spanish, unfortunately for Anglo-Saxons and other visitors who do not speak Spanish it is a bit difficult, what a pity that the capital does not have bilingual guides in its main tourist attractions, neither in Guatavita nor in the Cathedral de Sal. At least they can do the tour to their liking without waiting for the entire group that listens to the explanations exclusively in Spanish.
