The trip is very well organized and the crew on the boat very informative and helpful. It was a little choppy the day we went. Sea sickness tablets were offered and I happily took one. It did the trick and I enjoyed the morning with my new found sea legs. The crew work really hard to try and spot the whales and make your experience a great one.

It was a half day trip and we were concerned that we would not have enough time to travel wo where whales were located. There was no difficulty we saw 8 different whales -some just blowing and diving while others displayed their tails and one whate was splashing the surface with its fins. On the way back we saw half a dozen dolphins who passed in front of the boat.

Had a great trip. Very well organised with pick up from hotel on time. Staff all very friendly and helpful. The boat is comfortable with a great crew. We were offered sea sickness medication before we left. I strongly recommend anyone who gets remotely sea sick to take it! I’d already taken some before the trip for maximum effect as I struggle with it. After a couple of hours at sea, I think many of us had given up seeing any whales (risk with any wildlife related trip) when suddenly a couple were spotted but they dived down for long periods a couple of times. The crew knew what they were doing and after a patient wait for them to resurface we were well and truly rewarded with a great show of amazing breaches and pectoral fin slapping. It was incredible to see them in action so up close. Really recommend to anyone visiting Boa Vista in whale watching season!
