What people are saying about Black River

Our family had an amazing experience swimming with the dolphins. The captain on the boat was excellent, he took us to multiple locations to give us the best possible chance to get amongst the dolphins. His final spot was excellent, pod of dolphins numbering about 25 /30, he put the boat in the desired position and told us when to go for it. We got really close to the dolphins with everyone experiencing being surrounded by the dolphins. The captains local knowledge was superb and I thought the price was excellent for a party of 8 people. To actually get right in amongst the dolphins was an amazing experience for us all, and one we will never forget.

Our guide, Sameer, picked us up at our hotel on time - as agreed. He took us to all the highlights mentioned and gave us information about the respective places during the trip and also on site and also answered all our other questions about Mauritius and life on the island - always very friendly. With the highlights themselves, we always had the opportunity to explore them independently and at our own pace. Meanwhile, Sameer (politely reserved) has been waiting for us. We had a nice, relaxed and private day in the south of Mauritius with Sameer. This tour is definitely something for explorers who don't like mass tourism (buses).

Akeel was an excellent guide, this trip is a must if you are here in Mauritius. We saw such a wonderful places, we never forget, it is a lifetime memory. Akeel helped us with climbing at the difficult spots, showed us beautiful waterfalls and lagoons and was very kind and thaught us a little about the culture, history. We are very happy that we booked this trip! Don't forget your sunscreen and bikinis and adventure at home! :) Thank you for the little present Akeel!

Our guide was on time with a large, very clean car at the hotel. He brought our wishes together in a tour that not only allowed us to do everything we wanted, but also saw a lot more. He was very friendly and informative about the island. He even came to the supermarket as an adviser and guided us to products from Mauritius.

Despite a previous bad experience the day before, we had a different driver for this tour who was fantastic! We enjoyed the whole tour and had a good laugh. Thanks!
