The entire tour including road trip, hike, swim under waterfall and lunch at beautiful scenic site was wonderful. We enjoyed it tremendously! Our tour guide, Gary, made us very comfortable, was knowledgeable about Hawaii and it’s history and culture, and made the experience fun and unforgettable. We highly recommend this to everyone visiting the Big Island.

We had a wonderful walk through the forest to see several waterfalls, with the highlight being a refreshing swim at the base of one of the falls. It was a nice sunny day but the trail was a little slick at some points. I’d recommend wearing tennis or hiking shoes and bringing water shoes for the swim. It is very rocky getting in the water. After the swim we had a picnic lunch with a gorgeous view of the ocean and neighboring cliffs and valleys. Our guide was excellent and we met some great people in our group of hikers.

Our guide Nick was full of good info on the botany, the culture and history of the area. He would weave the folklore tales of old Hawai with present day subject matter. And he had all the “stuff” we needed. Backpacks water snacks rain gear. He took great care of us. He is an excellent ambassador for the company and the Big Island. I will be back!!!
