Pokhara is a beautiful city in Nepal and serves as a gateway to various trekking destinations in the Annapurna region. While the standard duration for the Mardi Himal Trek is usually around 6-7 days, it is possible to do a shorter version of the trek over 3 days if you have limited time. However, please note that the 3-day trek will be more strenuous and physically demanding compared to the longer versions. Day 1: Pokhara to Kande and Kande to Forest Camp (2600m) You will begin by driving from Pokhara to Kande, which takes approximately 1 hour. Once you reach Kande, your trekking adventure commences. 3. Kathmandu: 2 Nights 3 Days Chisapani Nagarkot Trek Kathmandu

Day 1: Drive to Sundarijal (1,460 meters) and Chisapani (2,165 meters) You'll begin by being met at your hotel, from where you will drive for an hour to your trek's starting point of Sundarijal. From Sundarijal, your trek begins uphill following a large water pipe coming down from the Sundarijal Reservoir. Following that you will enter the Shivapuri National Park from where you will proceed further to reach the Mulkharka Village. The trail then passes through Tamang Village befire reaching Chisapani, from where you can spot great views of Langtang Lirung, Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and Everest. In the evening you'll witness beautiful sunset views over the mountains, before spending the night at a lodge. Day 2: Chisapani to Nagarkot (2,175 meters) Following breakfast, the trek continues by ascending through a lush forest before descending down to Jhule and Chauki Bhanjyang. The trail then crosses some villages and terraced fields before reaching Kattike Bhanjyang. You will be required to ascend up to reach Nagarkot from Kattike Bhanjyang, which will offer great views of Kanchenjunga in the east, Dhaulagiri in the west, and Everest. Day 3: Nagarkot to Changu Narayan (1541m) & drive back to Kathmandu 4 hrs Your final day will begin with an early-morning wake-up to observe the beautiful sunrise over the Himalayas. Following breakfast you will hike to Changu Narayan, where the trail descends downwards via Telkot. En-route you will encounter a bird’s eye-view of both Bhaktapur and Kathmandu, before encountering the 323-A.D. Temple of Changu Narayan. Once at Changu you will meet with your vehicle before driving back to Kathmandu to be dropped off at your hotel.

Experience stunning views of the northern mountains of the Himalayas on a 3-day trek through Kathmandu Valley. Hike through forests of pine and oak, see the oldest temple of the valley, visit a village of the Tamang ethnic people, and more. On the first day, depart from Kathmandu and drive to Sundarijal which is 1460 m above sea level. Take in the sights here then continue with a 1-hour drive and 5-6-hour hike to Chisapani which is 2215 m above sea level. Stay overnight here. After being collected from your hotel, you will begin your day exploring the beautiful city of Patan, which lies in the Lalitpur district. The best point to start your sightseeing is Patan Durbar Square, which includes the Royal Palaces. These are temples which depict the amazing skills of the area's ancestors. Bhimsen Temple is dedicated to Bhimsen, the god of trade and business, and from there you will explore the Vishwanath Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Krishna Mandir is a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. You will then explore the Golden Temple, a unique monastery which is a few minutes’ walk from Durbar Square. Your next destination will be Bhaktapur, which is the third-most major town in the valley and the best place to start sightseeing in Bhaktapur. Today's trail is mostly on downward section and takes you past several settlements and lush sections of woodlands. Following the ascending dirt tracks for about three to four hours eventually reach Changunarayan Temple a UNESCO world heritage site. Built-in 323 AD by King Hari Datta Varma, Changunarayan is richly decorated with sculptures and carvings and is said to be the oldest temple in the valley. From the temple, take in views of the village of Sankhu and the Bhaktapur. After exploring around the temple head towards the Kathmandu valley and finally to your accommodation. we enjoyed our first sightseeing in Nepal. we were promptly picked up by two very polite men, Rajan and Krishna. We spent 6 hours exploring Kathmandu’s main attractions, and loved seeing everything!
