A must for a visit in Switzerland is Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe in the Bernese Alps, connecting the two four-thousander peaks Jungfrau and Mönch, at an elevation of 3,466 metres (11,371 ft) above sea level. It’s part of the Jungfrau-Aletsch area, belonging to the Unesco world heritage site. A aerial cableway and a coghwheel train connects the Jungfraujoch with Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. Since 1912, this fantastic glacier world is accessible by coghwheel train. The tour begins with the travel from your starting point by train to Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland, where the Jungfrau railway line starts. It is a varied tour with a constantly changing landscape up to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe with the highest train station in Europe. This revolving restaurant was featured in the 1969 James Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service."  Continue the tour with a visit to the Bond World exhibition to relive different movie moments. Then, from the terrace at Birg, start the Thrill Walk down to the vertical drops of the rock massif. After meeting your tour guide in the lobby of your hotel, you will make your way to the train station in Bern. An intercity train will then take you to Interlaken East, and from there the small local train will take you to Lauterbrunnen where you will change to the local bus. With your tour guide, you will travel 15 minutes to the end of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, passing the "Staubbach" Waterfall, the helicopter base and the steep walls of neighboring mountains. Once at Stechelberg, you will transfer to a cable car.  The first section will take you along the rock to Gimmelwald, where you will change for Mürren. In Mürren, boarding the 3rd section of the cable car, you will be taken to Birg which sits 2,100 meters above sea level. A steel structure about 200 meters in length and closely hugging the mountain, it passes underneath the observation deck and concludes below the station. Upon returning, you will take a seat in a revolving restaurant where you can enjoy your lunch. The restaurant rotates 360 degrees within 45 minutes, providing fantastic views to "Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau". With good enough weather conditions, you may even be able to see Mont Blanc. You will conclude your stay on the terrace, before your guide leads you to Mürren.  Mürren is a traditional mountain village at an elevation of 1,638 meters above sea level, and is unable to be reached by public roads. It is also one of the most popular tourist spots in Switzerland, with summer and winter the busier seasons with tourists. Your guide will lead you from the cable car station through the village on a 15 minutes walk to the train station, where the narrow gauge train will take you back to Lauterbrunnen. Your guide will travel with you back on the local train to Interlaken, where you will change onto the intercity train to Bern.

Your tour begins as you meet your tour guide in your hotel lobby. You will then make the journey from the Lauterbrunnen valley to the top of the Birg. 2100m above sea level. First, take a 2-hour ride on the intercity train to Interlaken East. From there, take a local train to the Lauterbrunnen. Then ride a bus from Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg. As you ride, you’ll pass the “Staubach” waterfall, the helicopter base, and the steep mountain walls. After arriving at Stechelberg, you’ll begin your ascent up the mountain via cable car. The “thrill walk” has netting that you can climb through that will almost give you the feeling that you are floating hundreds of meters above the ground. Take a second cable car and ascend to 2970-meters above sea level, into a majestic world surrounded by mountains. After your cable car ride, head to the James Bond exhibition where you will see memorabilia from the 007 films. Enjoy lunch at the 360-degree rotating restaurant. The restaurant was partly financed by the James Bond production team and served as the setting for the 1969 Bond film “Her Majesty’s Secret Service.” Take in fantastic views of the famous peaks of “Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau,” in what was once a James Bond villain’s secret lair. In clear weather, you may even be able to see Mont Blanc. Afterward, your tour guide will lead you to the intercity train back to Basel, and then finally, back to your hotel.
