Full description
Day 1: You will be picked up at 6:00AM from your hotel in Bentota, from where your English-speaking driver/guide will take you to the Sinharaja Rainforest. You'll travel for about 4 hours from your beach hotel, driving through the beautiful countryside en route to your destination. After checking in to your hotel you will be briefed before your Sinharaja trek, which lasts about 4 hours. From there your nature expert will take you through the forest whilst explaining important things to you along the way. On the same day, you will take a village tour throughout which you will also explore farmlands, lakes, temples, and much more. Day 2: Following an early breakfast you will leave for Udawalawe at 6:00AM, from where you will drive for around 2 hours. Later, enjoy a 3-hour safari at the Udawalawe National Park, following which you will be returned to your accommodation in Bentota.

    • A raincoat or an umbrella is recommended due to the sudden frequent rain in the forest
    • There may be leeches in the forest, however they are not harmful to humans (you will be provided with leech repellent)
