  • From Benidorm: Algar Waterfalls and El Castell de Guadalest

    1. From Benidorm: Algar Waterfalls and El Castell de Guadalest

Head inland for a ride up into the mountains on this full-day tour. Stop at Guadalest and take time to explore the mountaintop village and visit some of the numerous museums, shops and cafés. Descend to the village of Callosa before reaching Algar. Enjoy lunch at a typical restaurant, at your own expense. Each of the restaurants has its own swimming pool that you can use free of charge. Relax and enjoy the Algar Waterfalls in a peaceful setting and dip your toes in one of the many pools. For the more adventurous, there are areas designated for diving. It was the inclusion of the waterfalls in one of the episodes of ITVs hit series Benidorm that made the attraction famous.

La excursión está muy buena, te lleva a dos lugares que no podes llegar si no tenes auto. Los dos lugares son impresionantes. Además el guía te facilita los tickets de entrada a los museos.

    2. Benidorm: Morning Trip to the Algar Waterfalls

Benefit from pickup then travel by air-conditioned coach with an English-speaking representative to the beautiful cascades of Les Fonts de l'Algar (Algar Waterfalls). Arrive in the village of Algar and get 3 hours of free time to relax in the natural surroundings. Go for a stroll along the pathways to see the cascades from different perspectives. Get stunning views from the top of the waterfalls and go for a refreshing swim in the ice cold water of the natural pools at the base. Avail of the on-site bars and restaurants to enjoy some tasty food and drinks before the return coach trip to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Lovely place to visit. Waterfalls are tranquil. If you have difficulty walking don’t go, if you do go make sure you take beach shoes or strong waterproof shoes so you can walk up the side of the waterfalls and in to the waters to cool off! (You can get beach shoes which they sell in many shops nearby). We spent about 2.5 hours on site and then went off site to have some lunch. Restaurants are reasonably priced with great service.
