The Benaki Museum, The Ghika Gallery, and the Museum of 20th century Greek culture are housed in a rare modernist building designed for the painter Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghika. The first  4 floors offer a panorama of Greek culture between World War I and the late 20th century.

We loved it, the staff welcomed us and explained how it worked when activating our tickets, the 48 hrs up on up off bus package with entry to several sites and museums allows us to discover without stress and plan our days.

Remember to go to the ticket office to print the tickets. You will discover that QR code that you received may not work in Acropolis Park.

Very interesting museum that showcases Greek art and culture. Objects, paintings and clothes are exhibited there

excellent displays especially if textiles. signage too small as lighting was so low it was not readable.
