Make the best of your stay in Algarve by having an ECO friendly SUP tour with us! Start this adventure at the magical Carvalho beach, from where we will guide you for 2 hours along the breathtaking coastline of Benagil. The guides, a team of young locals, will make your experience entertaining and smooth even if it’s your first time on a paddle board. Salty water and good vibes defines who we are. The journey will start at the magnificent Carvalho beach. A small beach totally surrounded and protected by its limestone cliffs where the access is through a tunnel carved by the older generations of the area. From there, you will get your stand up paddle board and depart on an unforgettable ride. The guide will show you the most breathtaking caves, “algars” and natural formations always with one of our guides taking the lead, making sure that everybody is safe and having the most fun. The duration of our expedition is aprox. 2 hours and 30 minutes, where we gonna have time to rest/photos at the most famous cave of Portugal, the “Algar” of Benagil. There, you’re gonna have the chance to feel its mighty energy and relax. The policy of the company is to take small groups on our tours (maximum 10 people), so we can develop a closer relation with you and make sure that everyone has the attention that is needed. Additionally, we will get away from the typical confusion of the high season by doing a route that is way calmer and most of the people don’t know about. One of our main goals is to give you a calm, fun and relaxing experience so you won’t forget Algarve and the BrotheRootz spirit and way of living. The end of the journey, once again, is Carvalho beach where you can spend the rest of your day taking sunbaths or swimming. The beach is part of one the most famous trails of Europe the “Seven Hanging Valleys” where you can enjoy an outstanding hike and explore the rest of the coastline by foot. We will take pictures during the tour that we will gladly offer to you, so you have your memories recorded to show to your loved ones!

Fantastic tour! Very small group which we loved. Our guide, Caio, is a geologist and very knowledgeable about the rock formations and caves. 10/10 recommendation for this tour company. We went out early before the crowds arrived and felt like we had caves to ourselves. Our tour was scheduled for 1.5 hours but we stayed and explored longer so didn’t feel rushed.

I cannot begin to express how amazing this tour is. Our tour guide Francisco was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The original tour we booked was rescheduled due to weather but we were kept in the loop the entire time with transparency amd clear communication. The early morning tour was unbelievable and we were the only people in the cave excluding two other people. Francisco was also extremely passionate about the caves and had an extensive amount of knowledge about the history of the caves. There were only 5 of us on the tour therefore it was intimate, numerous photos were also taken on a go pro and sent out afterwards, an amazing bonus! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Algarve and highly recommend the 7.30am tour so you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the caves. This tour made our Portugal trip extremely special.

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed paddle boarding with Egas as our guide. He was friendly, patient, and informative. I was a bit concerned about paddle boarding but it was the perfect distance and the water was calm. I’m so glad we didn’t go on our own bc Egas helped us get in and out of very crowded and hectic Benagil. Also, he took us to several spots we would not have been able to find or know about on our own. There was one in particular that was fantastic. Depending on the tide only paddle boarders lying flat could enter - a dark cave where the water is illuminated - super cool! Also, our meeting point was at an amazing beach with cliff diving and plenty of shade. We had planned on doing the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail since we were located in the middle of the trail but we decided to stay and enjoy the rest of our day at the beach. We had a perfect day!
