My fiance and me had a wonderful experience yesterday when we went on a kajak tour to the benagil caves. The trip exceeded our expectations and we had a lot of fun. We are not very experienced in kajaking but from our point of view our guide Sonia did very well. She managed the group of 8 very well and got us safely from spot to spot. We booked the trip at 8 am which I strongly recommend. There were few people at the cave and in the water. Later, when the trip was nearly over, everything got crowdy and Sonia told us that it gets even worse over the day, so try to come early to have the best view and experience.

Really fun people who are the guides were also very responsible about safety. I’m glad they had a wetsuit for us to wear! There was plenty of time in the cave and a good long paddle for the rest of the time. A small group early in the morning was great. Highly recommend these folks.

The tour was better then expected, we saw a lot more than we thought we would see and was lucky enough to Be the only people in the cave. The Tour guide Sônia was amazing and full of knowledge of the area. Was great to have a lovely local tour guide.
