Full description

Join this tour for an unforgettable day out along the old Antrim coast towards the world-famous Giant’s Causeway. You will first visit Carrickfergus Castle before traveling on towards the old Antrim coastal route where you will wind through the small towns and villages, hearing the stories behind each one. Heading further along the coast before traveling through the nine Glens of Antrim, hearing the myths and legends of the fairies and leprechauns that reside in these Glens. You will then travel through the coastal town of Ballycastle before arriving at the historic fishermen’s access way – the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. Stop to admire the views at White Park Bay and hear the stories behind the beautiful sights.

Visit a number of the HBO TV series Game of Thrones locations; travel by Carnlough Harbour where Arya Stark swam, pass by Magharmorne Quarry where Castle Black is located, and finish at The Dark Hedges which was Kings Road.

The final stop of the day is at the Giant’s Causeway where you can explore the historic stones and learn about the legend of the Giant Finn MacCool, and how and why he built the Causeway. After all your exploring is done you will travel directly back to Belfast via the inland route.

Would definitely recommend this trip. It was a shame that Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge was closed, but we still had time to see it from a far. Martin, our driver and guide, special thanks to him for an entertaining ride. He was very helpful as we had to catch a flight to Birmingham. We got our flights on time and may thanks for your kind help.

It's an amazing experience one must go to enjoy the naturally formed stones in a cubical format. We were not able to go through this ropeway, may be it would have made this trip from Good to Excellent. There was a mention of game of thrones but I couldn't relate it in the tour, was expecting a different tour altogether

I would definitely recommend this trip. There are so many interesting sights for such an amazing price. Ben, our driver and guide, was funny, friendly and knowledgeable. It was a shame that Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge was closed, but we still had time to see it from afar and make the most of the views. A really great day.
