Gilles, our tour guide was fantastic!! That ride in the sidecar was everything! Made sure we were safe with helmets and goggles too. He showed us everything that Mersault and Beaune had to offer. We saw Vineyards, Chateau's, small villages, wonderful scenic routes, etc... We also stopped and saw several (5) top level vineyards,that produce "Grand Cru". Won't ever be able to sample those, however; at least we now know which wines (that are the price of a small car), we need to get someone else to buy for us🤣. Not only did Gilles show us everything that the France countryside had to offer, he also provided vast knowledge of the different types of vineyards, the different types of grapes soils and wines, and the importance of all of it. Who knew wines had so much to learn about them. I feel like a Sommelier. If you are in the area - this is a must-do!! You won't regret it. Gilles, was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.
