Covid-19 Update

Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

Expert canopy guides will teach you all you need to know about ziplines and your equipment before you’re transferred to the Welcome Center, where a safety briefing will be conducted. When you reach the first platform, you’ll be ready to face the challenge of flying from one platform to the next. You’ll be safely attached to the double line cables, the longest of which spans 800 meters. The combined tour comprises 8 ziplines, including the 2 longest lines in the Caribbean that stretch across a 2-kilometer span in the mountains. Race your partner as you travel on side-by-side cables! This full-day (9-hour) trip also includes a visit to Monkeyland, where you can interact with the friendly squirrel monkeys. Nestled in the mountains of Anamuya, Monkeyland offers a chance to observe the monkeys in their natural environment. The monkeys have become totally trusting of humans in this 5-acre environment. They will climb down from the trees to sit on your shoulder and eat from your hand. Take note, though that they love anything shiny and will want to check out jewelry and sunglasses! Afterwards, on a visit to Coconut House, you’ll learn how coconuts become coconut oil and also have a chance to taste local organic products.

The transfers were punctual and entertaining. The outward journey with an open pickup truck was very good, so you felt right in the middle and could see and observe a lot. First there was ziplining, the organization was really good here. Despite the large number of people, everything went very quickly and the action was well organized. It was really a lot of fun. Then there was a short tour that was okay. The Monkeyland was the icing on the cake. Of course it is some kind of tourist fun, but it was well organized and the monkeys seem to be doing quite well in this reserve. Ultimately, it is an absolutely recommendable tour.

All in all, great fun. Even if you are skeptical at first because the monkeys are kept in a cage, they still have a lot of space. It is a great experience to see the super cute monkeys jumping around on you, constantly greedy for the food;) The guides are very humorous and round off the matter. However, I found the Coconuthouse less interesting. Little learned and nothing seen of the plantations, as expected.

Just wow !! Starting with the zipline: short introduction (safety briefing) and then we started, 12 really good lanes, we were busy for about 2 hours. Then we went to the Coconuthouse: for many supposedly a pure sales event, but it wasn't like that, there were delicious mangoes (straight from the tree), short stories about the production of various products and at the end you could buy organic products. You could also get some snacks (fruit, empanadas and coffee / cocoa). Then it went to the highlight: Monkeyland, cute little monkeys that are kept and fed in a controlled manner in an enclosure. There was a lot of excitement because the monkeys are completely free and jump around on you and eat out of your hand. Great pictures could be made :) again at any time !!
