A good way to get a walk around the city with a little bit of additional information but not for you if you want more details on the sights, history or architecture. Most of the clues were easy to find. We did struggle with the data connection a few times The style of the clues was in Pirate Speak due to this being a Pirate Treasure hunt but I found that a bit annoying in the end and I think would work better with younger kids if you are reading the clues out. I bought two tickets but in the end we only used one device so the additional ticket seemed like a waste of money. The route makes it easy to stop and take a break for refreshments. You get the clues via a text system and sometimes I was unsure whether to reply. There is a Hint function which we used a few times. Overall quite fun and I’m glad I did it.

Good fun for adults, I would suggest that this activity is not for children as it's a bit dry. More architecture and history, unless of course your children are into that! But it was good fun, the clues are accurate and you see parts of the city you would never even think to look! For a new visitor this was great. We stopped for lunch halfway and popped in a few shops on our way and the whole thing took a little over 3 hours. Very good value for money and a good way to explore the city for a new visitor. I would recommend it for couples or small groups.
