We very much enjoyed the tour. Our guide Javier was very friendly and explained many details inside and outside the building to us. It was definitely worth booking the tour. They were also very flexible and supportive when we had to move the date for a private matter. Recommended tour and plenty of time with the guide!

  • San Sebastian: Hondarribia, San Pedro, and San Juan Tour

    2. San Sebastian: Hondarribia, San Pedro, and San Juan Tour

After being picked up from your hotel, make a first stop is Hondarribia. On the border with France, Hondarribia is one of the most beautiful coastline villages in Gipuzkoa. Take a stroll around the port and famous Marina neighborhood which are well worth visiting. Later head to the old fishing village of San Juan (Pasaia), before you hop on the boat and cross the bay to San Pedro, the last stop. These 2 villages are part of Pasajes, which takes the name from the bay that separates them. After the tour ends, your guide will drop you off at your hotel or any other place of your convenience in San Sebastian. The short distance from the city makes this the perfect half day tour; escape from the hustle of Donostia in the morning and still have time to enjoy it in the afternoon.

We were collected from our hotel by Ainhoa, and from the outset she was chatty and very informative of the region and it’s history. We drove to the three destinations and had a really enjoyable time with plenty of photos and memories of a beautiful part of the world.

Tour guide Javier was friendly, knowledgeable, passionate about Bilbao and working very hard to speak excellent English. He treated my grandma very nicely. I had communicated, however, that at 80 years old, my grandma would not be able to do a long walking tour. I even indicated I thought the tour would be partly by car, but no one corrected me in our communications prior. We met very far from Old Town Bilbao, which was the most interesting part, and by the time we got there (a lovely long walk along the river that was too much for my grandma and our small kids), they were out of energy. I wish we had started in Old Town and then we could have driven to the Guggenheim because the walk was too much for my grandma. Great for active folks who want someone to give details on the sights. Bilbao is just gorgeous!
