Next, we will go to the emblematic Plaza Nueva, to taste 2 pintxos and learn about the local Basque wine: Txakoli in one of its local bars. Once we have visited the old town, we will cross the river to enter the Ensanche, the economic center of the city. My friend and I booked this tour last minute and were SO happy we did. Roberto personalized the tour to my dietary needs, which I was grateful for. Not only did we learn about Bilbao, eat and drink, but we also got to walk through the streets and get all the local tips. Roberto was kind and patient with our questions! Highly recommend.

It was worth every single euro for this private tour with Santiago. His explanations and tour made this wonderful museum come even more alive. Patient with our relentless questions we thoroughly enjoyed our 90 minutes with him. His knowledge and story telling was engaging and made our tour really special

Our guide (name?) was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We engaged in stimulating conversation about the various pieces of art and the wonderful building. We knew very little about contemporary and pop art but came away with considerable knowledge and appreciation.

The guide was helpful and informative. We were better prepared to enjoy pintxo throughout the rest of our stay after starting with the tour and understanding the culture.

Javier was terrific, the tour experience was lovely.
