Beautiful piece of history in the unproper location. Saint Denis, the city, is crazy, the feeling of unsecurity is so strong that it somehow ruins the pleasure of visiting the cathedral. Nevertheless, Saint Denis Basilica is amazing, it surely worth the trouble to go there.

This cathedral was gorgeous and the burial sculptures of France’s kings, queens and other royalty were beautiful. What should be mentioned though is how sketchy this neighborhood is. It really was the worst neighborhood I’ve been in throughout all of Paris. Thankfully the cathedral is only a few minutes from the metro exit.
