Look out for Kangaroos, and Emu’s and marvel at the changing landscape as we approach the Barossa Valley and glimpse our first vines. Time to awaken your taste buds with our first tasting at one of the most photographed buildings in the Barossa, the stunning Chateau Yaldara. Immerse yourself in the grandeur of your surroundings as the host takes you through a beautiful, structured wine tasting. There’s time to explore the property, walk around the grounds, take photos by the fountain, and explore the hidden tunnels that lie beneath this spectacular Chateau. Our next stop is the quaint country town of Tanunda, where you can amble along the high street, browse in the local shops, or grab yourself a coffee, take a seat and have a relaxing 20 mins of watching the world go by. Our next winery experience is the beautiful, heart-warming and wholesome Saltrams. Let the hosts tantalise your palate as they showcase their favourite drops and share their knowledge with you on all things wine making in their rustic Cellar Door Barrel Hall. After the tasting it’s time for lunch, where you’ll enjoy an absolute Barossa feast with a selection of the finest Chef prepared hot and cold dishes, from the award winning Salters Kitchen. There’s no rushing your meal, with ample time to enjoy some good company, get to know your fellow travellers. We head now to Menglers Hill lookout for a view and a half! Check out the Valley, see where you’ve been and where you’re heading, as it’s now time to head to the 3rd winery and the most exclusive cellar door experience of your tour the stunning Rosenvale Winery. Opening only for Taste the Barossa guests, prepare to be WOW’d !!! The passion is palpable as Rosevale’s’ hosts generously share with you the most spectacular wines you will surely ever taste. World Class is an understatement! Finally, a picturesque drive through Seppeltsfield will round off your perfect Barossa adventure, with time to grab a photo of the iconic Date Palms and learn about their fascinating origin, and the iconic Seppeltsfield legacy. Time now to sit back, listen to some quite music and watch the scenery go by, or perhaps close your eyes for a quick nap, as we express back to Adelaide for approximately 5:30 PM and finish the perfect Barossa Adventure.

Embark on a guided tour to the historic village of Hahndorf and Barossa valley from Adelaide. Immerse yourself into the culture of the area with guided winery visits, wine tastings, and lunch. After morning pickup from Adelaide and Glenelg, head towards the Barossa Valley to discover the region’s charming villages, vineyards, and German heritage. Your first stop will be at Hahndorf, one of the most important German settlements in the region. Wander through the town and be charmed by its quaint 19th-century architecture. Up next, take a scenic drive through the Barossa Valley, where you’ll stop in Lyndoch at the Kies Winery. Return to your accommodation in Adelaide just in time to reflect on the sights and tastes of the day over dinner.

Travel from Adelaide into the world-renowned Barossa wine region by coach on this day trip. Head to destinations Pindarie, the Lambert Estate at Angaston, and Barossa Valley Chocolate for a range of food and wine tastings.  Be picked up from select hotels in central Adelaide and ride aboard a climate-controlled coach. Enjoy the change of scenery as you make your way into the vineyards of South Australia’s premium wine region. Stop at Pindarie, which feels more like an Australian homestead than a cellar door. Hear the stories behind the wines as you sample their famous blends in heritage stables. Admire stunning vineyard views while you enjoy some morning tea. The next stop includes free time at Provenance Barossa, the original home of Penfolds. Here you go wander through the collection of food and beverage businesses offering unique experiences, including Penfolds Cellar Door, First Drop Wines Cellar Door, the Stein's Taphouse or Bean Addiction. Then you will travel to Lambert Estate at Angaston for a structured wine tasting paired with seasonal produce. Feast for the senses on signature dishes, salad, and vegetables. Have the option to purchase a glass of wine from the impressive wine selection, or enjoy a coffee accompanied with their popular Chocolatier (chocolate port). Leaving Lambert Estate, travel to Mengler Hill Lookout for sweeping views over the valley. Disembark at the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company your final stop for the day. Taste homemade chocolates paired with Vineyard Road’s handcrafted wines. Take in the scenic countryside on drive back to your accommodation in Adelaide by coach. 

Get picked up from your Glenelg or Adelaide hotel and begin following the River Torrens through the spectacular Torrens Gorge. Learn about local wineries and sample their wines along the way. Enjoy your choice of six delicious lunch options. Discover the beauty of the Adelaide Hills as you travel along the River Torrens up past Kangaroo Creek Dam and past a chain of ponds to your first stop, Kersbrook Hill Wines & Cider. Travel onwards over Barossa Reservoir to Williamstown in Southern Barossa and stop at Kies Family Wines for more tastings and a beautiful lunch. This is the ultimate Maggie Beer's FarmShop experience, where you will spend time enjoying everything that the famous shop in the Barossa has to offer. Start your visit with a welcome drink from Maggie's non-alcoholic Sparkling range, followed by a guided demonstration including the history of the farm and Maggie Beer - held in the studio kitchen of 'The cook and the Chef'. You will take part in our seasonal cooking demonstration using fresh produce and products from Maggie's exclusive range - with a chance to taste food that has been prepared during the session together. Take the chance to have your photograph taken in the studio kitchen. You will be provided with hints and tips to use Maggie's range at home, with easy to follow recipes. Our FarmShop team will host you in our tasting room for a guided experience of our Pheasant Farm Wines and Maggie's Orchard Gin. Discover the breathtaking beauty of the Barossa Valley on this hot air balloon tour from Nuriootpa. Watch the sunrise as you soar over the valley and end your experience with a mouth-watering breakfast on the ground. Meet your pilot and crew approximately 2 hours before sunrise at the reception center in Nuriootpa. Once everybody is assembled and signed in, your pilot will give you a briefing before you board a comfortable all terrain vehicle for the drive to the launch site. Drive through the Barossa Valley which is famous for having some of the most gorgeous landscapes in all of Adelaide. Once you arrive at the launch site, your pilot and crew will inflate the balloon ready for take-off. Have the option to join in with the balloon preparation. This whole process takes about 30-40 minutes. Jump on board, and after one last briefing and then it’s up, up, and away. Wave goodbye to the crew who will follow on the ground and meet you when you land. Relax and take in the amazing 360⁰ views. Experience the peace and beauty of floating over the countryside as the sun is rising. Fly for about 1 hour before landing somewhere downwind. Relax on a day of luxury as you explore the lesser-visited side of the gorgeous Barossa Valley wine region. You'll be part of a very small group that maxes out at 6 guests. Combining our expert knowledge with any of your groups personal recommendations, your professional wine guide will choose 4 boutique wineries for you to enjoy. Start with a morning pickup from Adelaide around 9am, or from the Barossa a little later on around 10am. After about an hour drive to the Barossa, it'll soon be time to enjoy tasting some wine. You may start somewhere traditional like Langmeil or Yalumba, and then follow it up with somewhere that takes a more modern approach. The day is flexible but we always like to showcase diversity. You'll savour wine tastings at two different boutique wineries before a delicious restaurant lunch at one of our fabulous restaurant partners. Enjoy a glass of local wine or beer as the perfect accompaniment to your seasonally inspired lunch. After lunch you may step things up a notch and visit a winery producing much richer and heavier wines, venture over the ridge into the Eden Valley, or visit a tiny producer making organic wines. Over the first half of the day, your guide will gather your groups interests and choose appropriate winery locations for the second half of the day. With a strong focus on premium boutique wineries that you don't find at all the big liquor chains, you may also visit more world-renowned names like Penfolds or Yalumba should people in your group specifically desire to. Your day is not only about having fun but also trying to be diplomatic to the group while showcasing a variety of styles and producers. We want you to learn about stylistic approach, the difference that site makes, the influence that the winemaker can have on the wine - anything to help you become a more informed consumer, so you can decipher the jargon on the back of the bottle and make better wine choices. After your Farm Shop experience, head to The Farm Eatery for lunch, prepared by Chef Tim Bourke where you will enjoy seasonal lunch to top off your visit to the Barossa. Begin your blending experience at the scenic Penfolds Magill Estate. When you arrive, meet the team of winemakers at Penfolds and explore the Barossa Valley Cellar Door. Here, you'll get to work in the winemakers' laboratory. Continue your vintner experience as the Penfolds winemakers introduce the wines on hand to blend and explain how to achieve the taste most suited to you. While you set about making your blend, learn about the legend of Penfolds. Then, take a bottle of your own creation home to enjoy.
