Visit a salumeria (delicatessen) to find out about different kinds of cheeses and salami while drinking a glass of wine. In one particular traditional corner of the town, discover fried street food with the strong flavors of sgagliozze and panzerotti. In a gelateria, enjoy real home-made ice cream choosing your favorite one from a fantastic selection.  The tour finishes by discovering the modern French part of the city. Our guide Alessia was excellent.

Alessia handled our mixed language tour superbly, English, French and Italian, in a group of 12 with two mixed tours of pasta 2 hours and street food 3 hours. She was personable and knowledgeable in all aspects of Bari, from history to religion to food. The only negative was the need to translate in 3 languages which did waste time, however she did her best to keep us entertained.

Excellent value for money

Had a great tour with Ida, very interesting, fun and good food. Had good company on tour which made the social time when tasting the local cuisine better. I didn’t expect such a large amount of food!!
