A very pleasant excursion up to the beautiful mountains, nice weather, interesting Monastery and an extraordinary collection of paintings of famous artists in the museum. Luis is a very caring, friendly guide with a lot of sense of humor, and a big amount of knowledge on his object. He also showed patience (as well as the other people in the group) with my two teenagers sons, who overslept a little bit and we all had to wait thankfully only a few minutes for them. Lots of thanks and gratitude!

Our Guide Eduard picked us up at our apartment in Barcelona at 8:30am. We arrived at Montserrat about one hour later. He gave us good advice to wear jackets as it was cold and windy. We really liked how he explained the history of the Monastery mixed in with current events. The highlights were visiting the Black Madonna, taking a lot of scenic pictures and having more than one hour of free time to sample farm raised cheeses and other natural foods. I would highly recommend this to anyone that enjoys beautiful surrounding and learning about the history of the monastery.

This is a most if you are in Barcelona. The site is spectacular the view is amazing. We had an afternoon visit so we had the chance to have the monastery for ourselves. We saw the Black Madonna without any line and a beautiful experience of hearing the monks sing. Our guide Alex was absolutely fantastic, vey knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Alex made our afternoon a total delight. Highly recommended....
