You will leave Barcelona and head towards the province of Girona on a pleasant journey where you can see the line of the coast of Maresma and some of the houses of the "Indianos," reminiscent of the "modernista" style of architecture in Barcelona. In an hour, arrive at Tossa where you will enjoy the beach, visit its citadel and climb to the highest point where the lighthouse lets you stay impressed with the views. Afterwards, pause for lunch in one of its terraces next to the beach or if you prefer in the old citadel. Then, you will head to Girona which will take about 30 minutes to arrive. Walk and cross one of the bridges over the river Onar that will take you back to another time and walk through the streets of the Jewish quarter past its cathedral churches for an unforgettable experience. Returning to Barcelona will take an hour so you can use the time to rest, dropping you off at your hotel or where whichever you prefer.
