While telling you about the foods on offer, especially the seafood, and the basics of Spanish and Catalan cuisine, the chef will buy some of the fresh ingredients needed to prepare an authentic paella de marisco, or seafood paella, Spain’s traditional rice dish. As the chef begins to prepare the paella you’ll hear about the history of the dish, the ingredients used, and the steps in the preparation. With the paella simmering in the kitchen you’ll be invited over to the bar where you’ll learn all there is to know about sangría, the world famous Iberian wine punch that dates back to medieval times. Wonderful way to start our adventures in Barcelona. 5 stops for Tapas, Vermouth, Sangria, wine and Jamon. Juan was funny and the walk was slow enough everyone was able to take lots of pictures and was not too strenuous. Everything was included EXCEPT water so either bring water or but some along the way if you want it. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience. Francesco takes you to the market to buy ingredients after which you go to a cozy kitchen and learn about paella history, culinary techniques and help prepare a delicious recipe. Sangria and friendly banter flows freely- great place to make some friends along the way.

We're huge foodies who love to cook and we LOVED learning an express paella recipe that can be adapted for our home country. Our experience was amileroated by fellow friendly international travellers who were also out to learn and have a good time.

Incredible experience. Best paella Ive ever had, with amazing fresh seafood. Wonderful and talented chef who cooked and also gave really good dinner recommendations that we asked for.

Absolutely phenomenon, the best experience. Being so close to the stage was amazing, you can feel the emotions. 100%recommend to everyone. Also the price is great!
