Full description
Like a canvas where nature has intended to combine with exquisite delicacy the intense green of the pine groves, the massive steadfastness of the rocks, the softness of the golden sands and the deep, dazzling blue of the sea – that is the Costa Brava. Leave Barcelona behind (8:30 AM in the morning) and head to a beautiful small village of whitewashed houses in Costa Brava. Walk with your expert guide along the rocky coast following the historical “Camí de Ronda” path, where you will uncover the impressive pine forests next to the sea and the most beautiful natural bays of Costa Brava. These are spots only reachable on foot. Be ready to go through a holed rock, find fisherman shelters, Dali’s hut, sandy beaches (where important movies have been filmed) and rocky bays. Do you rather do kayaking to find the magical coves of the coastal line? Your guide will show you the way. The tour continues in a Medieval village (Pals or Peratallada). Uncover the cobblestoned Gothic quarter of Pals, the city walls, the Gothic windows, the arches, the wells, the thresholds of the doors and a wide range of interesting nooks and crannies. On the other hand, you certainly won’t regret deciding to visit Peratallada. It boasts one of the most important medieval quarters in Catalonia. This fortified town in the municipality of Forallac is protected by three walls and a moat, watched over by the castle and its keep. Return to Barcelona, arriving at 5:00 PM.

Outstanding Tour

Our local guide was terrific. She spoke fluent English and helped us enjoy the beauties of Costa Bravo. We saw the tree bark used for cork for the first time, found so many beautiful vistas, enjoyed time in Pals and left with a great appreciation for this beautiful area and people.

This tour has everything you can ask for. We had a knowledgeable guide, did some walking, saw beautiful scenery, visited a nice small medieval town and a real fisherman village... everything in a small group of travelers. We learnt about the area, local’s life and local food. Laie recommended us a nice little restaurant and we ate great food! That was a delicious paella! It was obvious that she enjoys her job. She explained us lots of interesting details (we could have never seen without her) and answered all our questions. Ah! She had a very nice detail with us. She bought a tasty local pastry for us to taste. I cannot remember its name, but is was the perfect sweet for a short rest with those nice views of the Costa Brava. Highly highly recommended! Do not miss Costa Brava, do not miss this tour!
