Take in the beauty of its natural rolling landscape and discover the history and traditions of its medieval monastery. After your bus journey from Barcelona, board the cogwheel train up to the monastery and admire the beautiful nature and iconic multi-peaked mountain range of Montserrat. Once at the monastery, your guide will take you on a walking tour of the historical center of the complex. Learn about the rich history of the Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey, an 11th-century monastery that still functions to this day, with over 70 monks. Use the allotted free time to wander freely and visit the famous Black Madonna and see paintings by Picasso, El Greco, and Dali at the Montserrat Museum. During your free time, you can also ride the funicular train up the side of the mountain to get ...

The guide was great, my only critique is that we barely spent any time at montserrat and the overall tour was far more wine dominant than I'd anticipated. Should probably be renamed to "wine tour with expedited montserrat sampling" but aside from that it was great, I did enjoy both montserrat and the wine tour as well as the food and our guide was excellent.

    2. Barcelona: Helicopter, Walking, and Sailing 360º City Tour

Explore Barcelona from different perspectives on a half-day tour by land, sea, and air. Start with a walk through the Old Town. Marvel at the monument to Christopher Columbus pointing to the Americas as you transfer by van to the heliport. Glide up into the sky by helicopter, and enjoy indescribable views of Port Vell, Barcelonet...

A great value for the cost! Of course a tour is only as good as it’s guide, an ours was excellent, and good company!

Navigate to Barcelona and feel the Mediterranean, respecting the environment aboard this ecological catamaran (no noise and no vibrations). The catamaran departs from Port Vell, the city’s waterfront harbor, which is next to the 60 meter-tall monument dedicated to Christopher Columbus, at the bottom of Las Ramblas. The vessel will sail to the open sea and you’ll be able to appreciate Barcelona’s skyline from the water and its marina opened in 1991. Do not forget your camera to take beautiful photos. Inside the boat has bar service and bathrooms

At first we were wondering if we actually see anything else other than the port itself. But in the end we had a fun ride with some waves =D

  • Barcelona: Sunset Catamaran Cruise with Live Music

    5. Barcelona: Sunset Catamaran Cruise with Live Music

Spend 1.5 hours sailing on a stunning 78-foot catamaran cruise along the Barcelona coast. Experience the best way to watch the sun set over Barcelona while relaxing and listening to the live jazz on board. Take in views of the city’s skyline and beaches and capture some spectacular images as the light changes at this time of day. Feel at one with nature and connect to the sea, and lie down just 1 meter (3.3 feet) above the water on the nets area. Sit back and relax with a cold drink in luxury and comfort available from the onboard bar. Once the crew has hoisted the sails, you’ll soon be sailing silently along the coast and enjoying the stunning views.

The water was really choppy and I wish they had a server bringing drinks out and taking orders. I was too nervous to get up and get another drink once we were out on the water. Several people got soaking wet and I’m sure the wind made them cold. There were a group of ladies that took over the whole boat posing and doing cheesy photo ops. It was annoying but also entertaining to watch.

  • Barcelona: 1.5-Hour Jazz and Chill Out Catamaran Cruise

    6. Barcelona: 1.5-Hour Jazz and Chill Out Catamaran Cruise

Climb aboard a catamaran and enjoy a cold drink while listening to the sounds of the sea on a relaxing cruise off the coast of Barcelona. Sit back in comfort and soak up the vibes as you escape the hustle and bustle of the city center and sail across the ocean waves. Cruise along the amazing coastline to see the splendid buildings and architecture from a different perspective. Make new friends as you soak up the sun and wind down after a busy day of seeing the sights. Chill out to the sound of the music and calming sea as you sip a nice cold drink and take in the views.

Loved it! We got there early to ensure our place on the nettings & the view was just beautiful- drinks were reasonably priced, not absurd as some reviews made it seem. Only qualm would be the jazz music, the saxophone player only did 3 songs and they were quite short so just be aware of that, otherwise it was so romantic!

  • Barcelona: Montserrat Monastery Visit & Lunch at a Farmhouse

    7. Barcelona: Montserrat Monastery Visit & Lunch at a Farmhouse

Your experience begins in the upper part of Passeig de Gràcia, before journeying to experience the natural splendor of Montserrat, Catalonia’s most emblematic mountain which is topped by a Benedictine Monastery. Montserrat is an ideal trip to spend a fun day in nature, just a few kilometers away from Barcelona. On the way to the Monastery, admire the Massif of Montserrat, a spectacular multi-peaked rocky range packed with unique needle-shaped formations. Upon arrival, you can visit the Monastery, which was founded in the 10th century and still functions with 150 monks to this day. It is also well-known for hosting the figure of La Moreneta (the dark one), who is the patron saint of Catalonia — visit subject to current wait times. Your guide will bring history alive by explaining the history and ventures of this Monastery, which dates back nearly a thousand years. After the visit, you wi...

What an amazing day we had today. Our guide Flavio took us to Montserrat and explained things so well. He had tickets prepared for those who wanted to see the Madonna and he also took a group on the hike to the cross. He told us about the museum and I’m so thankful. That museum was awesome with Dali, Picasso, Renoir and Monet. Such a find! Then we went down the cable car and then to an amazing lunch with many courses and variety. This is the way to see Monserrat. My mom came two years ago and didn’t get to see what we got to see today. If I could give 10 stars I would! Thank you so much for the awesome day!

  • Barcelona: Two-Hour Midday or Sunset Sailing Cruise

    8. Barcelona: Two-Hour Midday or Sunset Sailing Cruise

Enjoy beautiful views of Barcelona from the sea as you cruise along the seafront in a luxury yacht. Your trip starts from the very heart of the city. Before setting sail from the spectacular marina, determine your itinerary as a crew. One of the best experiences my friends and I could ask for! We were able to sail out to sea, swim in the Mediterranean and see amazing views of Barcelona. The skipper was very generous making the experience very memorable. 100% recommend!

The trip was good and as planned. We asked for vegan food in advance (there was an option for dietary requirements when booking), but the guide has not been informed about this. Fortunately, he bought some food for us in a restaurant.

  • Barcelona: PADI Discover Scuba Diving

    10. Barcelona: PADI Discover Scuba Diving

This "try dive" is an activity recommended for scuba beginners. This experience lasts three hours, the first 35 minutes of which will consist of a briefing on how the equipment works, how to communicate underwater using hand signals, and how the tour will go. Afterwards, get fitted in the provided wetsuit and boots in the changing room. When you get to the water, your guide will break up the activity step by step, and you'll have plenty of time to get used to each one at your own pace. Starting from the beach makes everything easier, especially for your ears as you'll have more time to get used to the pressure. In general, you can stay under the water for about an hour — this, of course, depends on you because the faster you breathe, the quicker you'll go through the air in your tank. During the dive, your guides will snap some photos and videos, so you will have a souvenir from the a...

It was just amazing , the diving instructor was just so helpful, even though this was my first scuba diving experience they were so helpful. An easy must visit adventure recommendation.

Exciting and fantastic tour of Barcelona

With my 3 grandchildren I was able to enjoy the tour with our tour guide Johannes Fraunhoferhof. Boredom did not even arise in the 3.5 hours. It was just fascinating! I would be happy to recommend this private tour! He showed us his city lively and full of content and we are very grateful to him.
