Full description
Antoni Gaudí, the great architect of the Sagrada Familia and some of the most visited buildings in Barcelona dedicated his whole life to a particular and unique vision of art. Barcelona is home to many of Gaudí’s works, and just outside of the city, at the core of an old industrial colony, one finds an exceptional piece that many pass by. The count of Güell, a key figure in the Catalan bourgeoisie, built the textile colony at the beginning of the 20th century and asked Gaudí to design its church. Gaudí planned a grand organic building that resembled Sagrada Familia and, like the latter, never finished it. Today, visiting the Colony Güell transports you to the moment of the splendor of Modernism and the Catalan Art Nouveau. What better accompaniment to this artistic dive into local history than stepping into DO Penedès to learn everything about cava, the Catalan take on sparkling wine. Discover one of the nearby family-owned boutique wineries loved by locals. There you will taste three cavas, tour the premises, learn about local traditions, and sample some of the tastiest Spanish tapas. Choose between a group and a private experience.

It‘s was a really nice trip to Colonia Guell and to the Cava Winery. Thx for the exclusive trip and the time to make pictures at the crypta Gaudí. Tasting the Cava was really nice and having some good tapas in sun was a great experience.
