Full description

On this full-day excursion, you’ll make an early start from Barcelona and soon be in the medieval Catalan village of Baga, surrounded by the rocky peaks of Cadi-Moixero National Park. Explore Baga’s central square and medieval church before crossing the border into France, where you will stop in the charming and beautiful ancient spa town of Ax-Les-Thermes.

Your guide will recommend some of the best natural fountains to visit, and those best suitable for soaking your feet in. You'll then have free time to enjoy the healing waters, browse the local artisan shops and look out for a souvenir to remember your visit.

After an hour of wandering around this typical French village, its time to choose from one of the many local restaurants for a traditional French lunch.  After lunch, you’ll take the scenic route over the Pyrenees Alps into neighboring Andorra, to the capital Andorra la Vella. You will have a little bit of time to visit Andorra la Vella’s tax-free shops for bargain-priced wine and souvenirs On the return drive, admire the Romanesque church of St. Climent and the stunning valley views before continuing on your way back to Barcelona, arriving in time for pre-dinner drinks and tapas or whatever else your evening holds.

The tour was very lovely, at first I thought “why are we stopping in a French village” but the place was very charming and worth the 1.5 hour stop, you can also walk uphill for a 10-15 mins and have the best views of the area. Our guide Judith was very kind, sweet, accommodating and knowledgeable! She is always checking on everyone individually and making sure we are all happy and comfortable. Highly recommended

Amazing tour! It was a sunny day and I enjoyed all the beautiful sceneries during the trip. Although centre of Andorra did not make me feel real, the nature of this country is something maleficent. I have a few recommendations to manage the tour better: - Tourguide should give his/her phone number to everyone for any unexpected cases. - Everyone should be informed in advance about the weather. Of course it is not always exact as forecast, but I think the more informed, the more perfect experience. Overall, wonderful trip!

This was one of the best activities that I did! Julia was so informative and looked like she loved being there with us. She had knowledge and facts on every single place we visited and she made sure we had breaks between each long destination. It was truly a great experience. This is a whole day trip and very enjoyable I really recommend to do.
