Learn about this sanctuary for old and rescued elephants, who will spend their remaining years well cared for in a natural environment. Help care for the animals by feeding them, gathering food and bathing them. Around noon, enjoy a buffet lunch before heading out to see the major attractions of Kanchanaburi. Tour guide Jo was ok. He had some random facts about where we were going etc, driver drove like the car is on fire (typical asian driver). War memorial was great to see but not much information and not a lot of time. The elephant sanctuary was GREAT! Worth the drive. The guides were great, informative, great at taking pictures. Lunch was good too. Lots of variety and tasty.

a beautiful activity to do & share special time with the elephants. Our guide Ehdar at the elephant sanctuary was super nice & a great photographer, nothing was too much trouble & was happy to answer any questions, felt lucky to have him all day to look after us x

Would have been better with more time at Kanchanaburi Cemetery. Had 10 minutes and wanted to locate and photograph graves of soldiers from our village in the UK. Sadly we were unable to fulfil our wishes. Elephant Sanctuary was brilliant. Staff out there are amazing and really care about the work they do.
