Full description
You’ll start your adventure with an early pickup before heading to the elephant sanctuary. ElephantsWorld is a conservation organization dedicated to helping these intelligent and proud creatures. Once there, you’ll listen to an introduction and safety briefing before preparing food for the elephants. Get down and dirty and give the elephants a mud bath before heading to the river to rinse them off. There will be some time to shower before you tuck in to a delicious buffet lunch. After helping yourself to delicious Thai dishes, feed the elephants the food you prepared earlier. At Erawan National Park, you’ll trek through the lush forests and caves before arriving at Erawan Waterfall. This famous seven-tiered beauty with its emerald pools is a great place to take a dip or simply relax and enjoy the scenery.

Beautiful experience!! Like other comments, the tour lasted just over 12 hours, especially due to traffic! I returned to the hostel around 7:00 p.m. and they picked me up at 6:00 p.m.! It's almost like a private tour! The friendliest driver! I chose this tour because I liked the elephant sanctuary better than the other option where you only go to the sanctuary! And I think it was the best choice, in the sanctuary I met another group of people and all together we enjoyed a wonderful day with elephants where you have all the time in the world to interact with them, the super cheerful and willing keepers accompany you to meet to all the elephants as they tell you about their lives! We fed them, gave them mud massages and then bathed them and we walked back for lunch together with the elephants! Recommended experience ♥️

Excellent experiences both on the elephant side and on the Erwan waterfalls side. Elephants are rescued from circuses or from those who used them as taxis for shift workers. Here too, we don't hide it, they are used as tourist attractions, but this is exclusively aimed at allowing them to be economically supported with food and care. They live free, "grazing" freely, even if channeled into daily tourist activities. The Erwan waterfalls are beautiful, I recommend reaching maximum waterfall number 4 and using the little time available, about two hours, for a swim in the river. Remember to take the life jacket to be able to swim (you can only find them up to waterfall number 2). The route is not demanding, facilitated by roads and walkways.

All depends on ones expectations and readiness to interact. This place is really authentic and simple, the real deal. The people working there are very honest and sincere of what they do, how they can help and what are the challenges. They also have very good relations with the elephants and they know each of their characters well. Our whole family enjoyed the experience thoroughly, despite the long journey from Bangkok and back.
