Start your tour with a visit to the Emerald Buddha Temple. Pass by the amulet market, one of the most famous historical community markets of Rattanakosin Island. Discover the first stop of Wat Phra Kaew, regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand. Explore the Grand Palace, the official residence of the Kings of Thailand, now used for official events. Pass Tha Thien Market, a cultural food market. Visit the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, Wat Pho, considered the earliest center for medical public education, recognized by UNESCO in its Memory of the World Programme. Learn about the history of the temple from your guide.  Rest and try Bangkok's local street food in Tha Tien. Sample Thai street food for a taste of Thai cooking traditions. Continue your journey to Wat Arun (the Temple of Dawn), one of Bangkok’s most famous landmarks known for its giant tower, standing 70 meters high.  Take a speedboat to Thonburi, the former capital of Thailand, less developed than the other side of the river. Amazing tour , our guide was so knowledgeable about Thai history, the grand palace and the temples . We had an amazing lunch in a local restaurant which I would never have found . I did the king tail Boat cruise around the river and canals which was a real highlight, going through the loch to join the canal and seeing the canals and how people live in stilted houses was fascinating .

Tour Guide had excellent knowledge of everything visited, looked after us well, and was able to answer all questions. Despite the youngest princess visiting the palace that day, and delaying us by an hour or more, he kept his cool and sence of humour, and adjusted our time table accordingly.

The tour is a bit overrated and stretched, could be done in 3 hrs, it is good for those interested in buddism history of Thailand. Was a bit tiring walking in hot weather, jumping into and from boats, not many places to hide from the sun, limited toilets location, so it's not for everyone. The guide Pat was very helpful though, she also helped us to plan other activities.
