Full description

Get off the beaten tourist tracks and follow a well-planned route to savor typical Isan food from northeast Thailand, the best Pad Thai in town, scrumptious chicken fried noodles, and much more. See the landmarks of the Old Town along the way as you pass temples and flower markets without the tourist crowds. Explore and wander the complex of the peaceful Wat Pho, which is also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, at night. Enjoy a drink at a rooftop bar with a stunning view of the Chao Phraya River with Wat Arun on the other side of town. My husband and I joined the group tuk tuk food tour just yesterday evening, and it was wonderful! Chanya was an incredibly energetic and informative guide. She had so much knowledge on each stop and fast-tracked us to the best tables and spots. The tour moves at a fast-pace, so be ready to hop on and hop off your tuk tuk with quickness :) The food was delicious, and even living in Bangkok for a year, there were dishes we tried that we haven't had yet or are very hard to find in the city. Highly recommend, and we plan to bring friends and family when they come to visit us!

Since we liked the trip last year so much, we did it this year too. Unfortunately we could not witness the train's departure through the market, as it was precisely at this time that the meeting point was with the tour guide. She could have taken that into account. Otherwise everything is perfect again.

One of the best tours I have ever been on.

Tuk-tuk tour guided by Gimao was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. We found our tour guide, Gimao, at the designated meeting point and as soon as she greeted us, we knew we were in for a great time. The Tuk Tuk’s arrived and we were on our way. The drivers were all very friendly and great drivers maneuvering the streets and traffic of Bangkok. The restaurants we were taken too had the best foods. We had the full experience of the various food Bangkok has to offer. Visiting the flower market and pagodas was enjoyable. So happy we had Gimao as our guide. She was very personable, knowledgeable and fun. She was the perfect fit for our group!
