Full description
Make your first stop of the day at Khlong Toei Market, Bangkok’s largest fresh market. Watch the vendors sell their produce to the busy locals and stroll around the stalls, taking in the sights, smells, and sounds.
From there, hop on an iconic tuk-tuk and head to the pier. Board a ferry that’ll take you across the Chao Phraya River. Cycle to Bang Krachao, also called ‘Bangkok Jungle’ or Bangkok’s ‘Green Lung’. Discover one of the rare places in Bangkok where you’ll find yourself immersed in greenery and trees. Spend your time exploring this artificial oasis, passing through banana trees, coconut plantations, and local houses.
Stop at a public park and feed the fish, before making your way to a Muay Thai school to observe students practicing the beloved Thai sport. Afterward, visit a local Buddhist temple and stop at a neighborhood Thai restaurant for lunch before taking the ferry back across the river to Khlong Toei Pier.
