Explore the true heart of the bustling city of Bangkok while it comes to life on this bicycle tour. Cycle the back roads and small laneways and discover that there is more to the city than just busy roads full of traffic alongside high-rise buildings. Riding down the quiet 'soi' and the tiny lanes that make up much of the city, you will discover ancient temples and lifestyles by the Chao Phraya River. The tour takes you through the labyrinth of streets and down every laneway imaginable to the heart and soul of Bangkok. The tour begins at 09.00 am, taking around 3-4 hours, depending on the group. MRT The shop is just a 4-minute walk from the new MRT station Sam Yod and just one block away from Miramar hotel. We are at the last building on the same block with KC Music Center. Taxi It is worth printing the map on this page to show a taxi driver if you choose to come to the Grasshopper Shop by taxi. Bear in mind that you will be traveling during peak hour so if travelling from the downtown area you should allow at least one hour to get here. River Boat It is possible to get reasonably close to us on the Chao Phraya Express Boat getting off at Pier Memorial Bridge which is a 15-minute walk or short tuk-tuk ride from Phra Athit Pier. The ferry takes about 1 hour from Central Pier at Sapan Taksin. The boat service closes at 7pm so it cannot be used to get back to your hotel after the tour. Contact the local partner for assistance through mobile, WhatsApp, or LINE.

this is an excellent way to see parts of Bangkok that you wouldn't normally see since the pace is a little slower. riding down narrow alleyways and through markets of the locals was a highlight, and my guide was Excellent and very friendly. the whole organization is very professional. great time and money well spent!!

this was my second tour with grasshopper and it was amazing as usual. Kan was my tour guide and he was really fun to be with. He’s very determined about his work and he knows a lot about the history of the buddhist temples and paintings and the best local cuisine places. He made us stop at a desert van where they eere serving thai sweets. That was really nice. I would like to put this on record that inspite of the bike tyre getting punctured, he wasnt thrown off. He calmly removed the tyre and mended it from a grasshopper mechanic and while doing that made sure i found a comfortable place to sit and relax. This is a wonderful company to go with n this tour in particular is worth it. 10/10
