Chef-Designed Bangkok Food Tour For 8 Exclusive Guests

1. Chef-Designed Bangkok Food Tour For 8 Exclusive Guests

This four-hour journey weaves through the backstreets and alleys of Old Bangkok to small street vendors and eateries that have been serving hungry locals for years. This tour has been carefully curated by a Bangkok chef, who grew up in the district and visits many of the spots his father took him to decades ago. Thousands of guests have discovered the real food of Bangkok in places they’d simply never find alone on this tour. It's not just about the food though. It’s about Bangkok eating culture, its history, and, most importantly, the people behind the food, who have dedicated their lives to cooking on the street. There’s no doubt about it – you’ll most certainly eat well on this small-group tour that’s limited to just eight guests. Some highlights of this 16+ taster menu include working chopsticks over crispy chive dumplings with nam jim jaew sauce, mopping up rich satay sauce with charcoal-grilled coconut chicken skewers and slurping up workers’ noodles in slow-cooked pork broth.

Bangkok: Night Bike Ride and Dinner at a Local Restaurant

2. Bangkok: Night Bike Ride and Dinner at a Local Restaurant

Discover Bangkok at night on a guided small group cycling tour for a maximum of 6 people. Explore alleyways like a local with an experienced guide, see famous landmarks lit up at night, and savor an authentic Thai meal for dinner. Begin your experience at the meeting point on the Thonburi side of Bangkok at 6 PM. Receive your bike, helmet, and light for your safety, as well as fluorescent clothing, if you wish. Take a short ride through winding alleys to a local Thai family's restaurant and enjoy a tasty meal there. After dinner, cycle through a few lesser-known areas to see Bangkok like a local. Stop at Wat Arun and take photos of it shimmering in the night lights, then cross the Chao Phraya River on a local ferry. Once on the other side of the river, ride to Wat Pho, the largest temple in Bangkok famous for its huge reclining Buddha statue. Next, cycle around the Royal Grand Palace and on to the 24-hour flower market, Pak Khlong Talat. Delight in the colorful, fragrant, and exotic fresh flowers in the market, and see everything from common roses to bright orchids, lilies, and more. Then, head toward Chinatown and cycle among the bright neon lights and market alleys. Savor the sights, sounds, and smells of Chinatown and its street food vendors. Finally, cross the river again on a ferry and ride like a local through some of the winding back streets. The tour concludes at your original departure point.

From Bangkok: Wildlife Rescue and Elephant Rescue Tour

3. From Bangkok: Wildlife Rescue and Elephant Rescue Tour

Meet your driver at your hotel lobby in Bangkok at 6.30 AM. The transfer to the rescue center will take about 3 hours. Once you arrive, meet and greet with your guide for the day. Your guide will give you an informed guided tour around all areas of the center. You’ll see some of the rescued animals, hear their stories and learn why they are living at the center. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for you. Enjoy a traditional Thai buffet looking over our large multi species enclosure with elephants, gibbons, and other animals. We will serve both vegan, vegetarian, and meat options at lunch. After lunch, meet and feed one of the elephants. See how the volunteers at the elephant refuge go about their daily tasks. Learn about the elephant’s individual stories and about their personalities. Learn about the conservation issues that elephants face, and how they are exploited by tourist attractions, forced to carry lots of people and perform tricks – you will see none of this at the elephant refuge, where the elephant’s natural behaviour is of paramount importance. Drive around the whole site and get to see the bears and monkeys enjoying their meal before the tour ends at approximately 3.30 PM. Meet your driver once again at the entrance and transfer back to Bangkok. Estimated return time at your hotel is 6.30 PM.

Amazing way to explore Bangkok. The guides took us through traffic and small alleys and showed us many places. We got history from Bangkok and Thailand to the normal Thai. We felt safe biking in and out of traffic. Could have wished for better English, but they tried their best and explained as good as they could and we hope we understood the meaning of what they where saying on to us. All in all this was weighed up by their helpfulness and humour. We can strongly recommend this activity.

This was a great outing activity, taking us down the narrow streets in Chinatown and getting us to try food that I would have no idea about or would not know which one to try. The guide was friendly, dynamic and very motivated to share his personal experience and knowledge about this area and the food history and cultural link. Plenty of historical facts linking the area, the food and the cooks/restaurant/food stand.

What a great night, we sampled 16 different foods that we would of never found on our own. We were able to skip the long queue lines and learn about the food & history of what we where eating. Our guide was awesome, very knowledgeable about Chinatown and the best places to go. He brought along napkins and sanitizer spray to keep us safe. Trust me, you will not leave this tour hungry, great value for the money.

The tour was great fun. We saw a lot of Bangkok. The bikes were very good too. Our guide is very personable, spoke good English and explained a lot to us on the way. The food in a local restaurant was delicious and the owners super friendly. The guide always paid attention to us. We felt very safe on the tour. All in all a very successful tour that we can definitely recommend.

My husband and I were the only two on the tour but we had an amazing time with Nutth! He took us to so many great places and let us take as much time as we needed! He was easy to talk to and very helpful and accommodating!I would definitely recommend coming really hungry to this because there are many stops with generous portions!
