We saw mule deer, white tailed deer, a large amount of elk, a red squirrel and a black bear from a distance. The tour guide was very knowledgable of the area and local wildlife. The tour was a bit shorter than two hours due to waiting for people that were late, and having to do further pick ups around Banff. It also became too dark to see any animals around 15-20 minutes prior to the tour end time. There was also mention when booking that the tour would include a drink and snack, which wasn’t provided but not a big deal.

Taylor was our guide and told a lot about the animals during the drive. As soon as we sighted a wild animal, he stopped the bus. Depending on how close the animals were, he decided whether we could get out or watch the animals from the bus. The welfare and safety of the animals is always the top priority. We saw several hinds and a stag on our tour. We would do the tour again anytime!

We have done this two years in a row with amazing results both times. This year we saw big horn sheep, a Bear and a ton of deer and elk. They picked us up on time and were very knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend this trip and don’t be afraid to ask questions. My 5 year old asked 1000 questions and our guide answered all of them and was less annoyed than I was! Great Times!!
