DAY 1 (Lunch) FLAMINGO LAGOON Today you start your Isabela Galapagos tour. It is necessary to have a flight with an early arrival in order to partake in all the activities. Upon arrival at the airport, your guide will be waiting for you to bring you to your lunch place and to Puerto Ayora. From there you will take a speedboat to Isabela Island, where you will visit the Flamingo Lagoon. This is the biggest coastal lagoon found on the Galapagos, which is also a main reproductive site for the majority of flamingos at the Galapagos. Accommodation in Hotel San Vicente or similar. DAY 2 (Breakfast, Snack) LOS TUNELES – CONCHA PERLA SELF GUIDED In the morning you will go to Los Tuneles. Here, you can do snorkeling and hiking around. While you are hiking around you can see iguanas. While snorkeling you may see penguins, blue-footed boobies, manta rays, turtles, and sharks. It is possible to change this activity to hiking at the Sierra Negra volcano. This alternative activity involves a 5-hour demanding hike, but during this activity, you will see special vegetation and special kind of bird species. In the afternoon, you will go to Concha Perla. Here you have a good opportunity to go snorkeling and swimming. Accommodation in Hotel San Vicente or similar. DAY 3 (Breakfast, Lunch) GIANT TORTOISE BREEDING CENTER – WALL OF TEARS – LAVA TUNNELS – TINTORERAS In the morning you will go to the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center. Here you will see giant tortoises and you can learn and interact with them. Then later you will visit the ‘Wall of Tears. In the afternoon, after lunch and a brief rest at the hotel, you will sail to ‘Tintoreras’. It is called this, due to the white-tipped reef sharks, called Tintoreras, that come to rest at the bottom here. They are friendly sharks and you can swim together with them. You may also find yourself snorkeling here with penguins, sea lions, fish, and iguanas. Accommodation in Hotel San Vicente or similar. DAY 4 (Breakfast): TRANSFER OUT – BALTRA Today your Isabela Galapagos tour is coming to an end. After breakfast, you will travel to Baltra Airport with a Spanish-speaking driver, where you will depart to Quito or Guayaquil. End of tour
