From Bali: Swim with Manta Rays in Nusa Penida

1. From Bali: Swim with Manta Rays in Nusa Penida

Head for the island of Nusa Penida and embark on a snorkeling adventure. Take advantage of 3 different stops to swim with Manta Rays, enjoy lunch on the beach, then spend the afternoon exploring the mangrove forest. Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in selected areas of Bali, and then journey to Nusa Penida, located 20 kilometers off the southeast coast. The largest of Bali's 3 sister islands (Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida and Nusa Ceningan), Nusa Penida is much less developed and remains home to abundant and pristine nature. Marvel at the dramatic landscape and steep cliffs along the coast as you make your way to some of the island's best snorkel sites. Upon arrival at the protected bay of Manta Bay, discover an ocean rich with plankton that attracts beautiful reef manta rays that can sometimes measure up to an impressive 4 or 5 meters in wing span. Go to 3 of the best snorkel sites of the island, including popular spots (depending on conditions) such Crystal Bay, Toyapakeh and Gamat Bay. As the strong swells of the Indian Ocean can impact conditions, the situation will be carefully monitored to take you to where it is safe to swim with the rays less than 1.5 meters from the surface of the sea. If conditions are not suitable, your snorkeling itinerary will be adjusted accordingly, as your safety is always the number one priority. Following your magical snorkeling adventure, break for a delicious beach side lunch at Paradise Beach on Nusa Lembongan. The lunch is served as an Indonesian food buffet. Then, get the chance to explore the mangrove forest in the afternoon by kayak, stand-up paddle board or private gondola.

Me and my husband booked this tour for one of the days we spent in Ubud. We are extremely happy and satisfied with our guide Sakha who is punctual, polite and knowledgeable of the destinations he took us to. In addition to the wonderful guided tour itself Sakha put in the extra effort to provide a much appreciated tour even after it started raining and helped us get in touch with an exchange office. Sakha is also very good at taking photos! The our itself is very well planned for those who would like to see the main attractions near Ubud. 10/10 Highly recommended

I had a tremendous trip. Putu and Wayan were tremendous driver/guides - very friendly and informative. As I was a solo traveller they allowed me to determine my itinerary. They were very helpful at all my stops, helping me take pictures and allowing me to determine how long I wanted to stay before moving on. They were just excellent and we had so much fun in our travels.

we had a good time, the view of the sunrise is wonderful and it was a good experience to go there by jeep. Special mention for our guide who took the time to explain everything to us and who pay attention to taking care of the customers. I recommend Axelle and Kevin

Tour guide Edi was super knowledgeable and helpful. Car was comfortable and he made sure I got enough time to enjoy everything at each of our stops. Beautiful first Tour experience in Bali and the rice terrace was particularly picturesque.
