    You will be picked up from your hotel in Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Kerobokan, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Sanur or Ubud. The pickup time will vary based on the pickup location: Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Kerobokan, Nusa Dua and Jimbaran at 01:30 AM; Sanur at 02:00 AM; and Ubud at 02:15 AM.

    Full description

    Take an early morning tour to Mount Batur and experience the majesty of an active volcano and its surrounding landscape at the first light of day. Enjoy breakfast at the top of the mountain before continuing your day of adventure on this paradise island complete with a delicious Indonesian lunch.

    Following a hotel pickup, journey to the start point of your hike by 3:30 AM, and get a safety briefing and overview of the trek from your guide on arrival. Start your hike at 4:00 AM with a steep climb of about 2 hours to reach the summit of the mountain, 5,633 feet (1,717 meters) above sea level.

    Refuel with breakfast as you watch the sunrise and take in views of Lake Batur and Mount Rinjani. Then, take an optional walk around the crater. Hike back down the mountain and rest your legs on the 1-hour drive to the Ayung River. Here you'll meet your rafting guide and receive a paddling lesson and safety briefing before heading out onto the water.

    Spend an exhilarating 3 hours white water rafting and marvel at the rice fields, rainforest, waterfalls, and rock carvings from a different perspective. Benefit from an optional stop at a coffee plantation on the drive back to your hotel to sample the local coffee and tea. Get dropped off at your hotel in the early evening.

    Our day started with Wiraa picking us up at the hotel at 1:15 am. The hike to the volcano was quite strenuous and was unfortunately not rewarded with a beautiful sunrise, but with lots of clouds. Our guide Pande looked after us wonderfully and brought us safely back down from the mountain. The white water rafting was also an absolutely amazing experience, you drive through the jungle and you're just amazed. The rafting guides were also great. Wiraa was an incredibly nice driver who told us a lot about Bali, gave us tips and even gave us cold water on the way back. I can only recommend the experience to everyone. Wiraa picked us up from Bulaleng for a small additional charge, although this is actually outside the radius of where the supplier picks up guests.

The hiking was gorgeous and white water rafting was so fun! I would 10/10 recommend and do it again. Wira truly helped make it a special experience for us.

    It was an excellent day starting with the hiking trip to mountain Batur at 4:00 am in the dark with the guide which took about 1.5 hours and a spectacular view on the top when the sun came out. After hiking down we were taken to the rafting which was so much fun to do and we had a very nice guide here es well. We had an excellent day and can definitely recommend this tour combination since you simply cannot get tired when rafting and laughing with the group in the boat. We loved the tour and thank GetYourGuide's perfect organization!
