It was one of the best day being in ubud! Me and my friend had so much fun going to mount batur with our buddy ADI and KOMANG. They are so funny, fun, and amazing as guides. We love spending every bits of time with them from the start til the end. Thank you again Adi for being so accommodating to me and kak azee. Appreciate it so much! :) We started our journey from the hotel (they will pick you up) to the waiting point to meet the driver and then we waited a bit before going up. It was all worth it believe me. They also prepare food for us while waiting for the sunrise. Just book this one and you will not regret it. The waiting point is a beautiful villa. In the morning you will see beautiful view of mountain, lake and everything in between. It was all worth it!

We were picked up at 2:50 AM. We arrived at the villa where we were offered a coffee and then went on a jeep ride to the sunrise watching spot which was amazing. While watching a sunrise we received simple breakfast and tea and after that we went on for the rest of planned activities. Not all of the activities included keep rides but it was fine. Later on we were moving using a normal car. Guides were very helpful and excited. Most important stuff for us was to avoid touristy spots and guides did great in this regards. Adi our driver was also explaining us the local culture and some interesting facts about Bali. Overall would recommend.

The trip started early at 3am, with a 1.5h drive from canggu to Mt batur. Gave me plenty of time to catch up on sleep and the driver was on time. Unfortunately, it was a bit foggy in the morning so the sunrise wasn't really visible, but luckily that changed a bit after sunrise and I still saw the view to the lake and sea as well as a part of the volcano. Guide was friendly and gave some explanations about the volcano. The jeep ride was pretty rough with lots of bumps, so be sure to hold the top of the jeep. The back of the jeep also has no roof which is nice to see the outside but could be a problem when it's raining. It was still pretty good, as we got to the black lava fields before the others. We also passed by the coffee plantation which is nice if you've not seen it before; this is where the swing is which was fun. The only things I'd say might be possible to be fixed; the car did smell a bit like sweat, which was 'solved' by opening a window but I'd suggest smt permanent
