Both Hindus and Buddhists venerate her, and she serves as an illustration of the harmony between the Hindu and Buddhist people. One of the popular temples of Kathmandu Durbar Square is Kashamandap, locally known as Maru Sattal. It is believed that the name of Kathmandu City is derived from the name of this temple, and it is said that this temple is built by one single Sal (sorea robusta) tree. At the center of this temple, one can see the statue of a Hindu god Gorakhnath and in the 4 corners of the temple one can see Ganesh statues. The most visited temple of Kathmandu is Maru Ganesh. Swayambhunath/Monkey Temple Swayambhunath / Monkey Temple is a 2,500-year-old Stupa situated overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Its name comes from the holy monkey living in part of the complex. The painted eyes on 4 sides symbolize the all-seeing eyes of Buddha, and the site is one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites. Pashupatinath Temple Pashupatinath is a temple of Lord Shiva and the most sacred of the 275 Shiva temples worldwide. It is also the oldest temple in Kathmandu. The Bagmati River runs alongside the temple, and is the site not only of pilgrims who bathe in the river, but also contains a special area where members of the royal family are cremated. Boudhanath Stupa Boudhanath Stupa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also one of the biggest in the world. It is the most important pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhists, who come here by the thousands during the winter festival to pay their respect. Patan Durbar Square Patan Durbar Square is home to the former Patan Royal Family. The most photographed of Kathmandu’s 3 Durbar Squares, it features a remarkable display of Newari architecture. Its main attractions include the Krishna Temple, with its 21 golden pinnacles, Rudra Varna Mahavihar, a Buddhist Monastery that houses local treasures, and the central courtyard of Mul Chowk.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (Max Altitude: 1350 m / 4429 ft) On the first day of your trip, you will be arriving in Kathmandu via Tribhuvan International Airport. Our representative will be holding your naming card signboard and greet you and pick you up from the airport. You will then check into a hotel and be briefed about your upcoming trek and get introduced to your guide. Day 2: Travel from Kathmandu to Birethanti via Pokhara (Min Altitude: 1100 m / 3609 ft) On the second day of your trip, you will be traveling early in the morning for a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Birethanti via Pokhara on a Luxury Tourist Bus. The trip will take you 7-8 hours. You will then be exploring Birethanti, a small settlement. You will also be staying at Birethanti for your night halt. Day 3: Drive to Simrung and Trek to Sinuwa (Max Altitude: 2340 m / 7677 ft) Today you will be taking a one-hour drive from Birethanti to Simrung, the start point of your trek. You will then be trekking (6-7 hours) towards the beautiful village of Sinuwa via Jhinu Danda, a natural hot spring, and Chomrong, a modern Gurung village. The village provides you with an insight into the traditional Gurung cultures, and their hospitality. On your journey, you will be passing through various scenic trails including waterfalls, spectacular views of the mountain range including Mt. Annapurna South and Mt. Himchuli among others. You will be staying in Sinuwa for your night halt. Day 4: Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali (Max Altitude: 3230 m / 10597 ft) On day four you will be taking a 6-7 hours hike from Sinuwa to Deurali via Himalaya, a small settlement with tea houses. Today you will be yet again passing through a dense forest while exploring many waterfalls on the way. Deurali Guest House will be your night halt for the day. Day 5: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (Max Altitude: 4130 m / 13549 ft) On day five you will be arriving at your destination, the ‘Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp. On your journey, you will pass through a valley, an experience like never before. The journey from Deurali to Annapurna basecamp takes you 5-6 hours. Tea Houses at Annapurna Base Camp itself will be your night halt for the day. The place is famous for its mesmerizing view of the Annapurna Mountain Range with an amazing view of the sunset towards the west. Day 6: Trek back to Bamboo / Sinuwa (Min Altitude: 2340 m / 7677 ft) On day six, you will be witnessing a spectacular view of sunrise and a delicious breakfast in the early morning. You will then be trekking down towards Bamboo / Sinuwa via Deurali, Himalaya, and Dobhan. A guest house in Bamboo / Sinuwa will be your halt for the night. Day 7: Trek back to Ghandruk and travel to Pokhara (Min Altitude: 830 m / 2723 ft) On day seven, you will be hiking down towards Ghandruk (5-6 hours) via Chomrong. Ghandruk is famous for its ethnic Gurung traditions and culture. You will then take an hour's drive back to Pokhara from Ghandruk.

Opt for a private transfer from Pokhara to Nepal's capital city. Avoid the hassles of public transport and instead travel comfortably in a reliable, safe and efficient car. Enjoy the benefits of beautiful scenery on your drive to Kathmandu. Your trained drivers are knowledgeable about the route and are happy to give you local tips en route. You may also request them to stop at restaurants for breakfast or lunch, or for a toilet break as necessary. Based on the number of travelers in a booking, customers can choose for a sedan, SUV or a minibus service. Choose a convenient start time and request drop-off to your hotel, airport or bus station in Kathmandu. The approximate distance between the two cities is 200 km, which may take 5-6 hours to cover. Travelers are suggested to keep traffic and road conditions in mind while planning onward travel.

For the airport arrival pick-up process, upon arrival and after your visa issued, head out to the Arrival Area to meet your driver, holding a name sign. Pack your luggage and transfer to your hotel. For the hotel to airport departure, your driver will meet you at the hotel's lobby as per your given timing, then transfer to the airport and drop you off at the Departure Gate for your onward flight. 

08:00 AM: Drive to Dhulikhel The tour begins early morning with a Guide picking you up from your hotel. You will then take a one hour drive to Dhulikhel. 09:00 AM: Hike to Namobuddha The 4 hour hike towards Namobuddha begins from Dhulikhel. You will then be passing through a thousand steps of ‘Peace Garden’, Kali Temple and Kavre Bhanjyang. On your way you will be enjoying the scenic view of the valley with a mountain range in the background. Here you will also be exploring the traditional farming methods of Newari people, their cultures and lifestyle. After your hike, you will be exploring the Namobuddha monastery, also known as Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery. The monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery that lies at the top of the hill in Namobuddha Municipality. According to the old legend, 6000 years ago, a prince (Mahasatwo/Ngingdui Tshenpo), at the top of the hill, looking at the jungle, discovers a tigress lying near the rock. Very quickly, he realizes that the tigress was about to die due to hunger with her five little babies still sucking milk from her and the survival of the babies depended on their mother. Mahasatwo, decides to give his life to the tigress in a bust of love and compassion. So Prince Mahasatwo cuts his body to present his warm blood in the mouth of the mother tiger, and the taste of blood gives the appetite to the starving family. 04:00 PM: Drop back to your hotel You will be dropped back to your hotel at four in the evening.
