Day 01: Kathmandu (1,320m)  Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) where you will be received by a representative and transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay at 3-star hotel. Day 2 : Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi (2,581m)  Take an early drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi via Dhunche (1,966m). Drive through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Dhunche. The first part of the drive up to Trishuli Bazar is quite smooth. Syabru Bensi is a beautiful village stretched out along the ridgeline and is the starting point of your trek. Overnight stay in Syabru Bensi at a teahouse lodge. Day 3: Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2,470m) Trek from Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2,470m). The trail goes along the ridge of Syabru Bensi’s main street, drops to the Ghopche Khola (2,050m), and then to Pairo (1,810m). From this point, the trail goes to Rimche (2,400m) through Bamboo (1,960m) and finally ends at Lama Hotel. Along the way, you may see red pandas, monkeys, and bears. Overnight stay at teahouse lodge. Day 4: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m) After having lunch at Lama Hotel, trek to Langtang village (3,430m) via Ghore Tabela (3,000m) which takes about 6 hours. See the grazing grounds of yak on the way where local people bring their livestock in the high pastures during the summer months. Pay a short visit to a monastery before reaching the destination of Langtang village. Overnight stay at teahouse lodge. Day 5: Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m)  Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m). It takes about 3 hours to reach the destination. Overnight stay at teahouse lodge. Day 6: Kyanjin Gompa Excursion Day  Acclimatize at Kyanjin Gompa and go for an excursion to utilize your time. Walk up the moraine to see the spectacular icefalls and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung, or ascend Kyanjin Ri (4350m). Overnight stay at teahouse lodge. Day 7: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (2,470m) From Kyanjin Gompa, have lunch at Ghora Tabela then trek the steep descent to Lama Hotel. Overnight stay at teahouse lodge. Day 8: Lama Hotel to Sybru Bensi (1,460m)  Trek from Lama Hotel to Sybru Bensi (1,460m). Along the way, see red pandas, monkeys, and various species of bird. You may also be fortunate to experience the rich culture of the Tamang people and see how they weave clothes. Overnight stay at teahouse lodge. Day 9: Syabru Bensi to Kathmandu (1,320m)  Drive back to Kathmandu from Syabru Bensi, passing through the rural settlements on the way back to the hotel. Overnight stay at 3-star hotel. Day 10: Sightseeing in Kathmandu  Enjoy sightseeing in Kathmandu, including Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Patan Durbar Square. Overnight stay at 3-star hotel. The Annapurna Circuit Trek is still without doubt one of the best treks anywhere in the world, despite inroads being developed in the region. It is a trek of diverse culture that starts in the lush fields of Hindu farmers and takes you through one of the strongest Buddhist regions in Nepal, which is very similar to Tibet. The complete circuit starting from Besisahar takes between 18 and 21 days. Over the last few years, access to each of the major valleys that cut through the Himalayas to the east and west of the Annapurna Massif improves each year, as more sections of Jeep road are completed. Throughout your experience, your guides will make every effort to take this into account, allowing you to avoid hiking on the road as much as you can. Nowadays many people trekking the route choose to fly back to Pokhara from Jomsom or take a jeep to Baglung and a bus back to Pokhara. The Manang Valley is one of many reasons to choose this trekking route, offering a journey over the Thorong La at 5,416 meters. It is spectacular on a clear day, and awards views of the neighboring peaks around you. The full circuit will see you continue on past Jomsom to take a jeep ride for a day to Tatopani and the hot springs. There you can relax before continuing on to Ghorepani and Poon Hill, a part of the trek which has no road. Whatever you choose you will have climbed over the Annapurna Massif, lapped up more culture than you can imagine, and trekked through one of the most beautiful valleys anywhere in the world. At the conclusion of your experience, you will result back in Kathmandu, ready to fly to your next destination.

6. Kathmandu: 20-Day Tilicho Lake Trek

Following two days in Katmandu, the trek starts from Besisahar and follows the Marshyangdi River. These first few days will offer some great views of Manaslu and Himal Chuli to the east. You will then trek through villages inhabited by a wide diversity of people from different ethnic groups, with the trail offering spectacular views of the snow-clad Himalayas. This customized route is basically the same as Annapurna Circuit from Manang, but instead of taking the valley north to Tanki Manang and Yak Kharka, this route traverses the main valley to the west passing through Khanshar Village (the last village of Nepal). Before trekking up to Tilicho Lake, you’ll stop in Yak Kharka then up to the high pass of Thorung La, at an elevation of 5,416 meters. From the pass of Thorung La, the trek leads down to Muktinath then to Jomsom from where a 35-minute scenic flight takes you to Pokhara. Your tour will later conclude with you flying from Pokhara back to Kathmandu, where you will have a final overnight before the conclusion of your experience.

Stay overnight at the tea house.  Day 7: Enjoy a rest day in Dingboche (4,410m) and spend the afternoon walking around. Follow another steep descent over the terminal moraine of Khumbu glacier. Admire great views of Mount Tawache, Ama Dablam and to the north-Pokalde, Kongma-Tse and the great wall of Nuptse. Stay overnight at the tea house.  Day 8: Trek to Lobuche, walking around 4.5 hours. Stay overnight at the tea house.  Day 9:  From Lobuche, follow the narrow gap between the glacial moraine and the mountain walls. Make a detour to the edge of the moraine to look over the Khumbu glacier. Arrive at Gorak Shep (5,140m) and take an afternoon visit to Everest Base Camp (5,364m). Stay overnight at the tea house.  Day 10: In the early morning, climb 2km to Kalapatthar, hoping for a clear day. Then, trek to Pheriche (4,270m), walking for a total of around 5 hours. Stay overnight at the tea house.  Day 11: Enjoy a lovely relaxing day of downhill trekking when you are fully acclimatized. Arrive in Tengboche (3,860m) after about 5 hours of walking. Stay overnight at the tea house.  Day 12:  Trek To Namche (3,440m), walking for around 5 hours. Stay overnight at the tea house.  Day 13:  Trek To Lukla (2,840m) walking for around 6 hours. Stay overnight at the tea house.  Day 14: Take a 40-minute scenic flight to Kathmandu. Stay overnight at the hotel. Day 15: Depart Kathmandu where your tour ends.

Embark on a 9-day Mardi Himal trek that takes you across the unspoiled lands of the Annapurna Region.
