Upon your arrival to Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be met by your tour representative before being transferred to hotel. The following day, you will fly to Lukla (2,850 meters) before trekking to Phakding (2,640 meters 4-5 hours). Your trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 meters will take between 6-7 hours). Your 4th day will consist of rest and acclimatization at the Namche Bazaar, where you will enjoy a 2 to 3-hour excursion. On day 5 you will trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870 meters) over the space of 5-6 hrs. Day 6 will involve you trekking from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410 meters) for 5-6 hours once more.   You will continue to acclimatize further at Dingboche on day 7, before trekking from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940 meters) on day 8. On day 9, trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 meters) and hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364 meters) before returning back to Gorak Shep. On day 10 you will hike to Kalapathar (5,545 meters) from where you will trek to Pheriche (4,371 meters). You will continue to descend for the next 3 days, before arriving back in Kathmandu on day 13 where you will spend a final evening before your departure the next day.

You will start your memorable journey from Thamel, where you meet your guide and driver. As the seats will be slightly elevated, you will be able to view clearly the places you travel past. From the start, you will be mesmerized by the colorful arts, restaurants, and hotels around Thamel. You will then reach Asan, which is regarded as the oldest food market in Nepal. It is a small, busy area with crowded roads that have a variety of spices and vegetables. After your Thamel and Asan visit, you move towards Kathmandu Durbar Square. This is one of the sites built by the late kings and it is filled with examples of traditional handmade arts in the sculptures, monuments, and temples around the area. You should visit the homes of the sacred lord Shiva, Parvati, and the living goddess, Kumari. You can enjoy a special Lassi - a sweet drink made of curd - along the way. You can also enjoy a cup of tea in Basantapur.

4. From Kathmandu: Bungamati and Khokana Village Tour

Visit Bungamati, a classical medieval village that lies across the Bagmati River from Chobar with its famous Rato Machhindranath temple. Explore local woodcarving and pedestrian-only streets before tourists crowd in. Explore Khokana Village, a traditional and tiny Newari village about 8 kilometers south of Kathmandu on the outskirts of Patan. Khokana has long been known for the production of rich mustard oil. In the Rato Machhindranath Temple, learn all about the deity that is believed to have been brought to Kathmandu from Kamaru Kamakhya. Next, see the Karya Binayak Temple, which is widely revered as a protector deity of Khokana town. Other sights to visit around the village are the Bungamati Culture Museum, Dey Pukha central pond, and Karya Binak Temple on the way to Khokana Village.
