We went to the Azores with Mein Schiff3, unfortunately there were no more excursions available through TUI Cruise. Thank God we had a fantastic tour with wonderful impressions through Get your Guide with our guide Hugo Melo, who presented his island with body and soul. We fell in love with the island of Sao Miguel and will visit it again for a holiday. The lunch was excellent with the locals with many delicious specialties and local drinks. The only tea plantation in Europe was well worth seeing and interesting and was explained to us in great detail and we tasted and bought green tea, with the tour guide helping us very nicely. I can only recommend Get your Guide and will book the next tour there again.

a fantastic experience exploring the island our guide had a wealth of knowledge about all things azorean even though the weather was changeable we got to see some incredible views from different perspectives on the island. the lunch included was local produce cooked to perfection very tasty & the day was topped off with a trip to the hot baths. I can't recommend this tour highly enough & if you want a true local experience of history, culture, geography etc in a very relaxed comfortable atmosphere this is the tour for you.

The experience has been very good, the guide Luis very friendly involved and with knowledge of the entire island, you could ask him what you wanted and he would answer everything with very good explanations. If I had not done this tour I would have missed many things and very good views that I would not have seen by car and landscapes. I recommend it, do not stop doing it.

This tour was one of the best we have ever experienced! Nuno was an incredibly knowledgeable host who ensured we saw all of the key highlights but also provided amazing insights and experiences that only a local can share. We cannot recommend this tour and Nuno highly enough!

Nuno gave us a nice day and showed us the beautiful island and places. A good coffee and delicious lunch was included, as well as time to explore the area on foot.
