    Begin the excursion with an introduction to cetaceans (whales and dolphins) and other marine species, their natural habitat, communication, migration, and behavioral patterns. After the briefing, board the designated boat and head out to sea. Approach the whales slowly and carefully as the naturalist guides and marine biologists on board provide commentary. Next, take a tour around the Princess Ring Islet of Vila Franca do Campo, for an up-close look at the volcano and resident wildlife. Light food is permitted on board, and a camera is essential to capture the wildlife you spot on the tour.

    The meeting point is TERRA AZUL base, Marina of Vila Franca do Campo, 4, 9680-909, São Miguel, Azores Islands. From Ponta Delgada town center by auto, head east along the coast and follow the signs to Vila Franca do Campo. Once in Vila Franca do Campo, descend toward sea level and the marina where the tour operator's base and yellow boats are located, and free street parking can be found.

    The best trip at sea. Absolutely great and organised staff who explained everything perfectly, were helpful and created a great atmosphere. We enjoyed the trip 100% and if we visited the island again we would definitely do it again. Worth all the money!!

    Awesome experience, I was skeptical due to the high price but it was definitely worth it. Employees were very helpful and happy to answer, always looking for the next thing to see. Also kudos for not sticking with one group of animals to let them rest and always maintaining a good distance.

    Terra Azul participate in many environment protecting activities. They lookout for the safety of every person on the boat and get a lot of information for the marine species what we see. In our trip we see a lot of dolphins, but we don't have a chance to see a whale
