Enjoy the convenience of being picked up from your accommodation. Meet your local guide and learn about the local food and wine offerings. As you explore the village, stop for a food tasting. After exploring the village, sit down for coffee and a traditional snack. Relax and watch the world go by.

Andrea was our guide and she was great. Good selection of wineries, very good wine and just a lovely day out. We included the optional picnic which was definitely worth it.

  • Cyprus 6-Hour Rural Village Tour and Wineries

    2. Cyprus 6-Hour Rural Village Tour and Wineries

From Limassol you will head north and uphill to an area known as Krassohoria (wine villages). First, you will go to the expansive Paphos Forest and visit Kelephos' medieval Venetian bridge, which according to tradition is built on a camel trail. The trail was apparently used by camel caravans to transport mined material from the mines on the north side of the Troodos mountains to Paphos port. The local stream has water throughout the year. The setting is beautiful, with higher water flow during the rainy season and with more greenery in summer when the alders have their leaves and the bracken are full of life. Omodos developed around the ancient monastery of the Holy Cross (connected to St. Helen’s Pa...

What a great way to spend a day in Cyprus! I saw fantastic scenery visiting a waterfall and a medieval bridge and I got some really amazing photos. Touring picturesque villages with a local was a treat. We topped off the day with a wine tasting in a posh winery with stunning hilltop views where I grabbed several bottles for souvenirs.

What people are saying about Ayia Napa

Booked this trip only one day before the experience. Excellent text communication immediately from the firm, with additional vouchers for the Apple wallet. There was a picnic lunch offered as an extra, which turned out to be very good. The small bus arrived five minutes early. The transport was a seven seater, including driver and front passenger. Very comfortable seats. We carried out a further two pick ups locally, so a total of five in our group. We travelled for 30mins from Limissol to the first of three wineries. Each tasting was good with a full explanation given of each wine. We tasted seven wines each stop, small quantities that could be consumed or disposed of. Our guide was excellent, funny, approachable, but still very professional. I would highly recommend this trip, an excellent day out, that I considered very good value.
