We had a great time, with 9 others on the bus with us, a varied mix of people and we all got to chat and mingle over a few wines. The wineries were superb my favorite I think was Mud Brick as they have a delicious Traditional Method Champagne. Our guide Dave was fun, informative and kept us on schedule. The lunch stop was great also. We met some interesting people and really had a fun day.

Mish was great and made sure everyone’s needs were accommodated. The wineries we visited were a nice range: quaint and country style to modern and industrial. Each has fantastic views and we got to see some beaches along the way too. The wines also ranged from specializing in bubbly, white/rose, and reds like Syrah and Bordeaux. I particularly liked the tasting at Casita Miro where we had a little food pairing for each taste, really highlighting how wine comes to life with good food pairs. Overall, a great experience I would recommend for a day at Waiheke.

What a brilliant day. The weather wasnt on our side but it was still a wonderful day. Our wonderful guide was both informative and fun. The wineries we went to were wonderful and was a great cross section on what was on offer. We met some wonderful people and overall I cant fault the day.
