Full description
Make your way across the bridge, soaking up stunning views of the harbor, city and volcano. See an enchanting slice of native bush that many locals don’t even know about. If you’re lucky you’ll start to hear and then see Tui birds in song and flight. These guys are singers and mimickers with quite the story.  Your guide will point out native trees, New Zealand bush medicine and wildlife that you may not have seen before. It's stunning natural beauty, and quite peaceful too. After your bush walk, you'll head to a beautiful beach and lovely waterside trail. See local landmarks and natural beauty including the imposing Rangitoto Volcano, the area’s youngest at just 600 years old. Pass over old lava flows, rock pools and even a castle. Finally you'll reach lovely Takapuna beach where this time of year it's an awesome spot for a swim to cool off. We'll finish with a classic Kiwi fish and chips lunch and a beer on the beach. We will then head back to the city!
