What people are saying about Atlas Mountains

We are a family of four that consists of two children (aged 12 and 10). The trip to Ouzoud Waterfalls was brilliant and the kids loved it. Breath-taking views when you get to the top. We took some great pictures as well. Tips: 1. Ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes. 2. If you are travelling as a family with young children, if your children are below aged 10, I'd think twice before booking because you could easily achieve over 15,000 steps at the end of the day and some of the climbs up and down the Ouzoud waterfalls can be very steep. 3. Bring some swimming costume as there will be opportunity to swim. 4. Ensure you include the (optional) boat ride for added value. You don't have to book it beforehand. I think it costs around 20 dirham per person on the day. 5. You do not have to pay 10 dirhams for a pack of peanuts to feed the monkey(s). Depending on the time of day, the monkey(s) may have been overfed by other tourist/ or may not seem interested.

The waterfalls are totally amazing and due to knee issues I couldn't climb the steps all the way to the bottom but another guide was assigned to me to guide me down the ramp way to the terraces so I still got some incredible views of the falls and had a good lunch after. There was also time to do some souvenir shopping

We spent an amazing day with Radouane exploring the beautiful mountains and villages he grew up in. The views are spectacular and the long downhill segments are the reward for the climb at the start. Highly recommend this as a way to experience Berber culture and the Atlas mountains

the guide was great. the walk was not strenuous and the views were amazing both up and down. The lunch that you get half way up was amazing. I recommend the tagine!
